I see alot of illiterates on this thread.
The report clearly displays FAAC+ IGR.
Since when did money gotten from the Federation account became a yardstick for measuring productivity of a region?
Isn't it expected that south east will be last on the list since it's the only region with 5 states? and the region that gets the least allocation from the Federation account.
Post like this will always expose the literacy level of people we argue with on this forum
Nonsense
They are just publicly displaying their low IQ and demonstrating wilful ignorance

Always knew this @Legendhero guy was a consummate dullard. You've spent all your adult years in Atlanta, went to college there yet you have the IQ of a retarded gnat. The report clearly displays FAAC+ IGR.
Since when did money gotten from the Federation account became a yardstick for measuring productivity of a region compared to its GDP?
Isn't it expected that south east will be last on the list since it's the only region with 5 states? and the region that gets the least allocation from the Federation account.

The GDP indicators (which measures the productivity of a region and not FAAC or IGR) from the statisense has always indexed the SE highest in Nigeria for literacy rate for both the men and women, better household income, better access to health-care, best access to road networks, best in middle class distribution etc. If you check the 2023 stats for the leading states in Nigeria per GDP, you will see 5 of the SE states in the top 10.

Nigerians are so embarrassingly unintelligent that they still think stats like FAAC (Federal allocation to its individual states) and IGR (the amount of revenue imposed on the citizenry by the state) are indicators of wealth, like how more ignorant can you get?

The worst type of poverty is when you're using big grammar to defend poverty.

That's what this idiot is doing. Using exotic lexicon to defend explain the South East posting the lowest figures.

Read the jargons you wrote, does it make any sense to you? Just so you know, Imo receive their duly 13% derivation.

Instead of you to ponder on why your region performed even less than North East. You are here typing jargons.

Your region is very unproductive bro. The

reason why Igbo think their region is okay is simply because your people in the SW have assimilated and then they lend help to the people they have back home.

It’s the same reason why most Southern Nigeria families are still even okay comparatively because most Southern Nigerian families have people abroad (USA, UK, Canada, and etc) who send money to them to lessen the burden on them.

Ibo land is an unproductive region! Tsefini

It is funny when a foolish man proffers and corrects someone... What is FAC? What is IGR? Are you aware that Igbo land is only 5 States? This FAC is shared according according to States!
He asked an important question but your IQ can't comprehend it, you turned it to tribal attack. Is there any 13% derivative on gas? South east has highest volume of gas in Nigeria?

😂 GDP statistics of which year? 2017? 2017 was the last time NBS released any official GDP stats for states.

Guy Imo state is dry, you are still living in the past. Your region is unproductive and dragging Nigeria backward.

Show me any statistics in 2023 that put Imo as second largest economy. Economy in which country? Maybe economy in Biafra because I’m sure you’re not talking about Nigeria.

Even look at it, what productivity do you have in Imo?
🤣🤣 don’t mind that clown…he also quoted me on a thread saying rubbish and comparing hotel Business to industries🤣🤣

See what your unproductive zone contributes to national purse as compared to the "parasite" zones in the North. Instead of burying your head in shame, you are still here typing nonsense.

Still you "productive" shrimps will give an arm and a leg to keep the "unproductive" zone under your useless Nigeria umbrella. Doesn't it beg the question?

—Yes it covers gas. It’s crude oil and gas.
—Even if SE is 5 states, none of the state individually generate IGR/FAAC that’s better than the average Nigeria state.

Rather than deviate and be bitter, ask yourself the critical question, why is SE always at the bottom of the spectrum in discussions like this? How can Abia be competing with Borno? Haba nao

Lol the guy is very slow, no mind am.

You have to understand their tactics. What they do is derail discussion and try to use the strawman argument.

IMO wey no fit lace Ogun state shoe for industry, na em e dey compare with small Imo with just only hotel which are usually sole person just building one house and employing few staffs. Shey na that one you go compare with mega industries in Otta alone.

We dey talk of 2024 numbers, he go go dey bring far away 2017. SE used to generate revenue too then but they’ve been on a downward trend since IPOB saga and now they are economically disadvantaged, even more worse than NE at this point.

How does this Data even make sense?

This is not where revenue is generated at all... I and this data doesn't in any way show that

FAAC allocation +IGR doesn't equal revenue generated... Because FAAC itself doesn't represent where it's generated

This data makes absolutely no sense

That aside... We hear oil earnings, why don't we ever hear Gas earnings in this country?
I'm saying this because I'm from IMO...we are a more gas producer than oil...do we get 13% derivative like oil? If yes how much?

Is this why they keep influencing who governs IMO state?

A big question
