Hello everyone -

I’m confused on part 5 of the Affidavit of support form - I-864 . I’m currently filing for my parents and both have separate supporting form.

On one persons , the household is 3 , for the second persons form , will the household be 4 since I already indicated that I’m sponsoring the first person or should I still keep it as 3 ?

Thank you.

Hello house. Please I need urgent advise. I went for my F41 immigration interview today, and the consular officer told me that my son, aged 27 now, has aged-out of my immigration petition. For context, I'm the principal applicant, and he was 10 years old when the petition was filed in 2007. Any advice on what to do? 🙏

You will file for him when you get to the US. He should remain unmarried for the F2B to remain valid and it could take 8 yrs if Trump doesn't scrap everything.

Hmm
I think it should be 3 for both since it's they are not your current household but are joining.

I have two questions,

So when I was filing dad’s application, the part that asked if anyone was going to be immigrating with him , I said yes which is mom. It then prompted me to fill in her details such as DOB . I made a silly mistake on her DOB under his application . I mistakenly added a year , for example instead of 1955, I input 1956.
Proceeded to email NVC about the mistake and requested for correction and I got this response below .

Note : All information on her own application is fine and correct .

Any suggestion on how I can get this corrected??

Secondly - do you have an idea of how long it takes NVC to call an immediate relative for an interview at the moment?
I looked into the visa bulletin and discovered that immediate relatives got nothing to do with visa bulletin.

Thank you.

Hello,

Please what is your priority date @ammany. This is to have an idea of the current priority date for F3 that is receiving IL from the embassy. Thanks.

ammany:
Hello everyone,
To God be the glory, we finally received our IL on the 28th of October. F3 DQed on 28/02/2022.

Please, I need some guidance on the pre-interview preparation checklist. Although I have reviewed the information provided on the site linked to the IL, I encountered my first challenge while trying to register on the USTravelDocs site.
Firstly, the link provided https://www.ustraveldocs.com/ng/en directs me to a page where I need to select my location. However, when I make my selection, I am redirected to https://ng.usembassy.gov/. After searching through that page, I cannot find an option to register or sign up.
I would appreciate any help or advice you can provide.
Thank you.

I think you're fine. Since information on her application is correct.

I don't know what the queue is for Interview for IR. Since there's no visa limit it would happen sooner than later.

interview letter is based on DQ date and it was stated.
Your PD actually takes priority over DQ.
If you're are DQd and your priority date is not current the you will not get interview letter.

To get interview letter you need PD to be current and be DQd..

So Trumps tenure will become official in January.

It may not be favorable for immigration based on Republicans lean towards firmer immigration policies.

Any major and needed immigration changes however require bothe parties in House of Reps and Senate to agree on a Bill . This has not happened in decades and next year will show whether they have SENSE.

BACK TO WHAT CONCERNS THOSE IN NIGERIA waiting for interview dates.

Hopefully, since Biden is leaving. Lagos Consulate may rush and get as many as possible scheduled for interviews for family based immigrant visas before He comes into office in January.

This is because in2020 Trump signed 2 executive orders that made both Nigeria and those on certain Family based categories unable to be interviewed in Lagos. That stalled interviews in Lagos significantly.Biden reversed those executive orders in 2021 Jan.

So if you are DQd and PD is current, get your documents for interview ready, go and set money aside for medicals and flight tickets.

Hopefully by grace interview letters will start coming faster

Check the 1st table.
Look for the F category and compare with your date.

My category is F2B. Under it I'm seeing 01,MAY, 2016 and my priority date is 30, March 2014. Does it means they have passed my Priority date? And what does that entails for me?

Sorry for the many questions.

The petitioner must participate even with 0 income (AOS included). They must file their taxes and provide proofs of US domicile.
