Dangote ..this is an indictment o your pricing regime...if despite your not importing fuel and marketers would rather import than buy yours, then me thinks your fuel is over priced. If you can price them out of the market ...fine but if not ..then your quality talk doesn't cut it as the reason for your high price, fact you don't export and import the crude should also count for price reduction too. 1 Like |

Refiners Association AKA Dangote Refinery would have to stick to their roles as individual sellers and Allow the regulators play their role as well as afford the other sellers the peace to compete. Very fundamental to deregulation is- All sellers are looking for highest prices while we buyers are looking for lowest price. Until IPMAN boycotted Dangote he refused to reduce price, calling competition substandard, saying he benchmarks International price rather than his cost of production. Like Cement, PMS would reach ₦5,000 and Camels would ply 3rd Mainland bridge if we allow a Dangote monopoly. |

Until when people with integrity and have humble, decent, rich background with class and noble intentions in power and governance,Una go continue this lamentation of bad governance, lawlessness and corrupt system, this agbéró and thug system of hungry ,greedy and classless people at the helms of affairs and power will never and I repeat never bring this country and system out of this practice of greed, selfish and emilokan mentality |

Richtaiwo:So your issue is with Dangote, not the effect on Fx base of the country. Fx that should be submitted to CBN to increase our reserve or to improve our Fx supply has been used to bring in this batch. |

Dangote should drastically reduce his price and watch importation of fuel die naturally. It makes no sense that locally refined petrol will be costlier than imported, to make matters worse government is not even coming out to make a clear policy statement. The NNPC that is the arm of the government can't be trusted.Today they say one thing, Tomo they go against it 2 Likes |

So the blending plant in Malta should go to waste because of dangote and Nigerians? |

There's nothing substandard about the imported pms after all isn't the fuel we've being using before the emergence of Dangote's product? 1 Like |

OYEDIPE:A bad fuel from Malta will always be cheaper than Dangote's. You know better. NNPLC is killing us small small.... And it must start from all their families. |

Racoon:I don’t think so . I think dangote is trying to hoodwink Nigerians the refinery is completed and then go through the back door and monopolize petroleum importation from marketers and force everyone to buy imported fuel as dangote refinery manufactured fuel. Dangote and his NNPC collaborators can never outsmart those guys. Mark it somewhere . They know the game or have you seen another source confirm dangote refinery is producing fuel apart from the videos he is releasing himself? |

Why should he do that. Do you know what it takes for a business man to invest $25 billion dollar into this economy? The past and present politicians are way more liquid than him. None of them could invest. They prefer to take our stolen money to outside the country to be kept. 1 Like |

DANGOTE IS A, CRIMINAL . I bought his cement on Friday@9k and 8.800 per bag .His sugar is 2k Same thing he dey do with his ⛽️ Nigerians/NNPC should ignore his products and buy elsewhere |

harsysky:Don't be deceived Their main grouse with Dangote is the anti- govt stance he took at the start of all these fracas. You think these clowns care so much for how much Dangote sells fuel? If Dangote and govt had been on the same page and selling fuel at 2k, those clowns will be here defending them and calling anyone who speaks against the price loser, wailer and what not. 1 Like |

Are you this daft? So you would rather buy fuel for 5000 a liter bcus u want to save foreign exchange, it is common sense no body will leave a cheaper product and go for more expensive one and even considering the logistics cost and stress to import petrol, dangote fuel is expensive bro, haven't you notice that fuel has come done from 1,250 to 1,095 if say na only dangote they supply you for Don they buy fuel for 2k by now. or haven't you heard that cement is na 11,500 if u ask watin increase cement them go say na cost of diesel but dangote truck has been using cng for more than 8years now OYEDIPE: 1 Like |

How are we even sure dangote is refining a drop of PMS? For someone who took license to import PMS. I don’t see why PMS from his refinery should be way higher than imported once. |

Richtaiwo: If Dangote act like an opportunist whose fault, whats the job of regulatory body and what does the PIA guide around Local refinery ... so far how they even following the rules. Its fvcking irritating to the the ear when people scream " Monopoly" ... what as being the modus operandi all along, whoelse calls the shot if not NNPC At what point the oil market depict competitive market, is it not gang vs Nigerians. whatever concerns these people are trying to raise are they not in existence. It is myopic to make aspersion dangote wants to Monopolize and the only option is to intensify importation thats the stupidiest thought, Dont we have Refineries why are these people acting oblivious, why cant we fix our local refinery and use it to curb Dangote Is Dangote stopping Nnpc/ govt from fixing Nigeria refineries , why is it impossible to repair our refineries where one man can build the single largest train refineries. So called educated people like you make comment and one begin to wonder what happen to common sense 1 Like |
