I am highly disappointed in the SE region. Even NE that's plagued by Boko Haram did better

All these stats are misleading by the time you dig deeper.

Eg. An mtn consumer in Abia pays VAT which is counted under Lagos.

They don't have any natural resources they contribute zero to national purse yet they want to break up from Nigeria.
If not that we don't want Biafran kids eating red sand for dinner we would have granted them their biafra with farewell party and some grains as parting gift

Absolutely not fair.

Aside that, it would make lots of governors in less productive states lazy.

Watch how clowns would flood here to brag about how their region contributes the highest vat in Nigeria.

Yet more than 60% of the populace are still living in abject poverty. What then is all the billions for if it can't improve the standard of living of the common man?

They have no clue about what good governance is for their 356% VAT-receiving region. But they know what’s best for Nigeria. Their OBVIOUS love for Nigeria is second to none.

Burruchaga71:
South east really tried with ONLY 5 states

Delta is just one state, compare what they contributed with what all the five SE states contributed all together.

There’s no excuse for failure, just embrace it and get back to work.

We need to understand that South East business is more outside of the 5 states of eastern Nigeria. We can see their businesses everywhere we travel to so we should stop acting ignorance. They are everywhere we go doing better than most tribes in Nigeria. I am not Igbo but we can't deny that.
