The boiling ring do shock me on a steady, but the one I will always remember was the day I added salt to the beans my aunt was cooking... Normally, she do boil the beans with this ring to make it soft before transferring to the stove and adding ingredients so as to preserve kerosene. But I no know wetin enter my head that day that made me to add salt, that shock was on a different level, na God save me.

One of the most dangerous home appliances back then. The inventor probably had it in mind to kill a lot if Africans in those days because I'm sure these stuff couldn't have passed a standard test in the West.

There's just something about electric shock that resets your brain and prevents you from loosing guard again.

This has melted the custard container I used.

As others are talking about their electric shock experience, mine was from a desktop charger, I placed my hand on the naked terminal and plugged it and bwoy, never again

How can you compare this with electric iron na

Without any loose or exposed wire from your iron e go hard before e shock you, the worst is to get burnt that's if you carelessly touch the surface of the iron but this boiler get like 99 different ways of electrocuting a careless user.

I use it VERY cautiously. I sit down, watch over the Boiled food and also watch the electricity Voltage. smiley

But you re Right.
It should not used in a House where Children and even teenagers reside. sad smiley

The shock zaaaaaap I got from that boiling ring ... choi! It cannot be easily forgotten. I was quiet the whole day ... I only started talking when NTA showed tales by moonlight that day.
