How does the civil service work.....A perm sec is more grounded in the ministries than a minister,a minister can't even mess with a director if he doesn't play his cards right,he is done for.....a minister can't steal a penny without the buy in of the perm secs and they have greater job security as a minister can't just fire them.

Bitterness is in you people just like peak milk. Apc won three straight presidential election without any significant votes from south east. If am a presidential candidate of Apc, I won't bother to campaign in south east cos it's waste of resources and time. I will increase my energy to other zones. The only time igbos will vote for apc is when they have presidential ticket of the party.

Appointment of permanent secretary is based on a civil service quota system of 1 permanent secretary from each state of the federation. These were the states that had no permanent secretary as the last permanent secretaries had retired

The permanent secretary for Rivers state was elevated to Head of service hence the new appointment fir Rivers Representative

Adekunle was no where near government house Ibadan on the night of that coup and even if he was he wasn't in position to do anything because northern boys was in control led by Danjuma.That Fajuyi died in defense of Gen Ironsi was produced by Yoruba propagandist to cover up their failure to confront victorious northern soldiers after july 66 coup for the killing of their leader Col Fajuyi.No participant in that coup have ever said Fajuyi resisted arrest or made any attempt to save his guest both him and his boss was marked men by the coupist.

Back to your comment.Maybe Igbos should start showing gratitude to Tinubu at the end of every month after receiving monthly allocation from Abuja.How about that?

I will not appreciate fake events... go to Abia airport thread I commended Tinubu and his Government for chosing to build airport in my state.
Now this project can be considered as a favour from Tinubu because he is not under obligation to do so and I commend him for that.
In the other hand permanent secretary is the right of every state in Nigeria by law just like every state getting a minister so it isn't a favour.Get the difference or show me appreciation letter other regions have written to Tinubu for getting a permanent secretary.
