zackmann: I've been to a lot of countries, and I must say that the cost of living in Switzerland is really high. The average price of a bottle of water here is $5. When I arrived last week, I spent 55 dollars on a pack of bottled water, which didn't even last for a week. I've been here for 9 days now, and I must say that my bank account is really feeling the heat. Everything here is damn expensive. Switzerland is for the rich abeg. Nothing anybody wan tell me. Today, when I went shopping for groceries, I thought I was going to spend not more than 80 dollars, but to my utmost surprise, I ended up spending over 200 dollars on little items. When I was in Norway, Australia and Netherlands, I thought that the cost of living was high (these countries are quite expensive to live in), but this is just on another level. I'm leaving here on Saturday abeg, before my account starts wailing.
Guys, let me use this medium to drop a piece of advice. If anyone is advising you to leave Nigeria, show gratitude to that person, because he/she wants the best for you. I've been touring for 6 months now, and I must confess that Nigeria is a sh*thole. This is actually an understatement. If there was a worse word to use to attribute Nigeria, I'd have used it. Once I'm done with my travels, I'm permanently relocating to a European country. I'm just using this medium to gather my facts first, before making a final decision.
I'm an American citizen by birth, but I've not lived there for 2 straight years; I've been on and off. America is kinda cool, but I've no interest in living there permanently. UK and Canada are for introverted people, in my own opinion. Right now, I'm thinking of maybe Sweden or Germany for permanent relocation. I was forced to learn Deutsch, because I studied in Germany from 2016-2022; before relocating back to Nigeria, to handle my Dad's businesses. I learn languages fast, but it took me 6 months to almost perfectly learn Deutsch language. I now speak English, French, Spanish, Deutsch, Latin, and a little bit of Hebrew. I'll be posting more with time. Merry Christmas in advance guys.
Photos below How many countries have you been to in the 6 months, and how long on an avg do you spend in each country. Happy Christmas to you too. |

All this charlatans in abroad always come online to talk rubbish, since life is fair to you enjoy it without forcing it on us.
The best Way is for all Nigerians to look for a way to make this country better, if all Nigerians follows this your mindset it means over 200M million Nigerians will have to leave this space and move to abroad. That can never happen because over 80 percent can't even afford to buy air ticket to Ghana.
Since life has been fair to you, all you've to do now is to pray for Nigeria.
Don't come online and tell us that we're stupid to still be in Nigeria. I’m not the OP but lemme burst your bubble,Nigeria as we know it will never get better but worse, so long as you continue voting in wrong people, and you dont have to hate anyone that travelled abroad and spoke against Nigeria, for me thats the first observation you make when you travel, you’ll notice how your Nigerian govt subjugated you! So dont hope in that country, instead of hating try leaving! The only part i dont believe in op is saying canada is for introverted people, abeg op have you been there ,na big lie, canada and usa is almost same thing same setting etc 12 Likes 1 Share |

I understand your annoyance with how OP crafted his post. However, the reality is that someone with an open mind who leaves Nigeria to live for a short period of time in developed countries or places where the system works would be angry with the state of Nigeria. Nevertheless, that is not necessarily a place to "curse" Nigeria, but ponder why our case is different. I say this because as much as Switzerland is highly developed, black people don't have an equivalent. Chinese do, so do the Japanese and Koreans. Even Arabs now do in the place of Dubai.
That should be the focal point: how come others have a functioning enclave of theirs, but we don't?
P.S. Enclave should have at least 5 million residents before someone mentions Botswana and Barbados to me. 🙄 Climate and geography have direct effects on development and civilization. 3 Likes 2 Shares |

Hannania: The pay in Switzerland is challenged only by what you can earn in the US. Na you carry your EU savings enter there . Fresh graduates in Switzerland can sweep up a CHF 100k/yr salary which is equivalent to $111k. You need 10 years of experience to stand a chance (not getting it) in Netherlands or Norway. They also have lower taxes than the other low paying EU countries in context.
The swiss built that country differently, and it's why getting citizenship there is a nightmare of waiting No fresh graduate will get 100k a year. Stop misleading people 10 Likes 3 Shares |

You better relocate to North Korea or China if you want people not to express their disdain for the criminality called Nigeria. Even in "developed" countries, their citizens denigrate the country and you expect a hellish jungle like Nigeria to not be disparaged by its citizens who have had their future stolen by successive governments and crooks at all levels, with the active connivance of the judiciary and legislature. The hypocrisy and nauseating thing about folks like you is that you claim to love Nigeria but continue to vote inept criminals as president, in the name of spiting Igbos. People will say how they feel about a country that does not care one bit about its citizens and there's nothing you and the criminals in power will do. 23 Likes 3 Shares |
