Sell this Port Harcourt refinery to the private sector, private investors, entrepreneurs..the private investors are the ones that can run and operate bussinesses, refineries very well and effectively..see Dangote refinery... a private refinery ..owned by a private investor...Dangote refinery is still operating and running effectively without any problems ..the main role of government is to create a conducive environment for bussinesses, refineries to thrive and excel ..not to run and be operating bussinesses and refineries..so federal government and NNPC sell out the port Harcourt refinery to the private investors entrepreneurs to run and operate the refinery so as to avoid all this unnecessary stories

I mean didn't I agree with you on that? There is no issue of premature celebration here.

However, I will point out that there is nothing in this story to warrant gloating at this point. The report lacks depth and itself indicates that loading is scheduled to resume on Monday.

Oh fair enough, and to be frank I didn't even read it, unusual for me, but only because I really don't expect it to last.

Meanwhile I dropped something on the 97 per cent thing which I didn't hear back from you on.

Obasanjo said in an interview with chude those refinery will and cannot work. He said he brought the original people constructed the refinery and they told him that spending money to repair or refurbish the refinery is a total waste of resources and time.

If APC can arrange ordinary persons in the streets or on the road as bishops, what is it that APC led by Ahmed Bola Tinubu cannot do?

Port Harcourt refinery working smoothly recently is a scam to calm nerves, in the continuous suffering of the people.

And you expect the Naira to be able to fully recover against the Dollar?
Isn't this us doing ourselves like this because it was stated that the government allocated money for this project in order to revive the refinery?

The fact that there's no agency that can hold those in politics accountable is the reason this country will continue sinking!

it seems to me that okp*lor eyes is using tribalism in this case. First, it is some amount of audio money just give the igbos fake hope. In his tribalist mind, he would give false hope and then send some people to go and sabotage it. Afterall, it is not his resources, it is the igbo and great region resources. So to waste their money, no dey hard am.

And Kyari still has a job. The blame will fall on the president at the end of the day. Total lack of accountability.

Leave these people, sir!

Just focus on the idiocy and gullibility of your citizens.

With fuel Subsidy, these men loot taya...!

Without fuel Subsidy, they are even looting twice more.

Travel abroad and see what these people and their families are doing with the 'little' money Nigeria has left.

The money that has been looted in just 25 years of this current democratic dispensation is more than enough to transform the entire West Africa!

I kid you not!

Imagine this: a 1.24 million bpd refinery in India cost $6 billion to set up, while rehabilitating a 60,000 bpd refinery in Nigeria, operating at just 70% capacity, has already cost $1 billion. Now, less than a month after operations began, issues are already piling up. Nigeria is gone. O ti lọ.

And this is not the first time that nonsense refinery is going through this dubious "turn around maintenance". I have been hearing that term since I was in high school. The amount of money used to turn around those moribund refineries over the years, would have been enough to build 2 more Dangote refineries

Those who knew better already said the news about the PH refinery working is like the news about Nigerian Air. We shall all be fine las las.

It would have been better if the FG have transfered the money (just this last $1.5bn used in refurbishing the refinery this time) to the individual account of Nigerians.
