A viral video of Pastor Terry Jackson of True Vine Apostolic Church of Christ, Hampton, Virginia, publicly rebuking a young woman for being pregnant outside wedlock has sparked outrage and debate on social media.

Many so-called men of God often place themselves on a pedestal, forgetting their own imperfections. It’s unfortunate how quickly they judge others without self-reflection. An apology doesn’t undo the consequences or realities of life. Pregnancy doesn’t just disappear because of words. Ironically, some of these pastors face similar or even worse issues within their own families. It's a reminder that no one is above being human.
