Journe: Interesting. I'd read about this. I can only wonder what words racists then would have been used to describe those black slaves who were given refuge. I wonder how itd compare to the description some have of Indians here. Its interesting what religion does to a mans mind. Its a mumu button many politicians have used... Buhari, Trump e.t..c. What folks fail to understand is that the muslims arriving Europe are more likely to closer to such 'christmas values' so esteemed than the everyday westerner. |

jedisco: Oh please I am telling you based on my own experiences. I am currently in the university sector, you have no idea the headache these guys are giving us, and no, I am not repeating racist tropes (I hate racists) I am telling you as it is. The difference between Indians and Nigerians is that the Indians have had good PR, and because they have been white ppl pet (from the days of using them as buffer class in Esst Africa, ) their excesses have not been brought to thr front burner. it's rhe case of their top talent (the top decile or quintile at best) covering for the majority who are no good to this. country. Over the last 5 years, it is the VERY WORST of Indian's and other South Asians that have flooded the west, the dregs of their society Come up north and see for yourself how they are messing up and slummifyimg areas Come see ppl who claim to have studied in English have no idea of what they are doing upon gaining admission here The majority of them are as described Yoy are talking this way because like u said, you are using the health sector as your sample size, and the likelihood of seeing dregs there are reduced significantly We Nigerians have our own top decile doing amazing things in this country as well. Unfortunately for us, because of history and where the yt supremacist put us in the pecking order (which we should resist fiercely), it's the negatives that drown the positive and Yes, the West is fed up of India Saying otherwise means that you are not following recent events Go on twitter and see the racist tropes heaped against these Indians Concerning the H1B drama, as well as even the sorry situation in CANADA Indians are the image of everything wrong with Canadian immigration when it comes to the discussion, and our ppl in Canada will bear us witness Go look up the word "jeet" "pajeet" etc The PR they have been using to launder their image has fallen apart, and I love it so much U r still looking at these guys through the lens of rose tinted glasses, better remove it and see clearly what they are as a collective community lying, forgery , oluwole ppl who are mercenary and racist to black ppl, and also lack emotional intelligence on a mass scale And no, this is not a competition with Nigerians Indians despite all the negative mess that comes with them still have one major thing going for them. At least they work together and cooperate Nigerians only compete and destroy and pull down each other..... Thats it The west is fed up with them BRW if you think country caps will be removed to allow more Indian flood the country, then you r joking Let's see how such a thing will pass congress with the atmosphere of the MAGA highly criticising it on the right, and bernie sanders to the left 2 Likes |

Is it these same Indians that we know about or another Indians that Jedisco is trying to launder their image? lol The vast majority of fake documents used to gain admissions into Canada were done by Indian students.... They go to these their "fake" colleges and can't pass their course, and when they fail, they constitute nuisance by protesting everywhere Highest creators of fake LMIAs, People who claim to have passed IELTS with band 8 or 9 and cannot even speak or understand English clearly Recently Canada asked thousands more of them to resubmit selected documents and they were creating threads everywhere that they are worried afraid and confused If you truly had such documents, what u will do is resubmit them, and keep it moving The undiluted truth is that these guys for decades have taken advantage of the nature of the high trust societies of the west to advance their cause, all the cracks and etc Now that the scales have fallen out of their eyes, they are in for a rough, bumpy ride under represented in crime? maybe not burglaries and robberies, but they are most definitely over represented in tax fraud, cheating and racketeering (we just indicted an agency that was mass processing questionable applications to our uni, and we have yet another mess on our hands to clean) All those decades of the top 5 to 10% migrating and "performing well" and covering for the excesses of the vast majority of them, who are really up to no good and not quality have gone Now the world can see India for what it really is, mass producer of sheethole ppl and a sheethole country with some smart ppl. That's about it @Gerrard59 5 Likes |

This decade everything go burst All that "model minority" farce of an image they have been using to deceive everybody will melt like the snow melting outside my house, and e go clear for their eye Nigeria we stood no chance because the PR was bad from the jump No matter the many good things that the top and best of us did out here, it was always eclipsed by the deeds of the dregs and bad eggs 🥚 Now it's the turn of these South Asians |

RodgersAkpafu: Honestly I am super glad that everyone is seeing the real Indians. Indians are also majorly nepotistic. If I have an Indian interviewer for a job, I just forget about that job completely. I thought it was just a me thing till I went on Reddit and literally everyone was complaining about the same thing. Everyone. Also Indian being good coders is completely wash. Maybe the top one percent are but majority are completely horrible. 7 Likes |

tensazangetsu20: While I was still fresh in this country I went to do SIA (its like a security license) that I will be using to "hold body" while surviving as an international student These guys opened "special centres" and were doing runs, helping them with the exams and ultimately they were getting the blue badges people that cannot speak English and don't know anything will be paired up with me and I'll be wondering how they got their badges Then Home Office started massive crackdowns, and na so the whole thing come cast. Centres were closed, criminal prosecutions were made, and some ppl were even deported Guess who were the majority of people banged up in this mess? U guessed right People I had to keep cautioning because of their search techniques and how they don't do patrol right, and even handling techniques of drunk people in the club. I even write the incident reports myself because I don't want wahala Now I hear its more stringent to get a badge These are the people that are being hyped as "model minority " Rada rada oshi 1 Like |

RodgersAkpafu:Interesting comments I have seen. Actually, I am glad their yansh don open to the public. Anytime I go through the complaints by many Westerners, I am always glad no be black people. I am also glad for the Chinese. No one has said anything bad towards them. The power of wealth and intelligent elites. Unfortunately for Indians, their country is not conducive compared to China. So returning to India isn't as attractive as the Chinese do to China. That said, what do you think of the recent bromance between the GOP Silicon Valley supporters and the Indian community? As for the H1B debacle and country cap, I believe it would favour our people too regardless of how they tweak the system. The same happened with Brexit. Just the African American population would be further reduced if there is a significant influx of black Africans into the US over a period of time. In my opinion, there are two reasons the West cozy-ed up with India: - Historical racism against black people. It is hard to let go so they go along with the other group they indentured, but not as bad as black people. In recent years, this was to have a sort of friendship with India as a way to counter/contain (using their words) China. To its credit, the Indian government always includes migration exchanges/clauses in any trade agreement with a major economic power. India is already the world's most populous country (it was second for years), so the numbers favoured them. 2 Likes 1 Share |

I lived in China for 7years,came as a student and ended up being a very successful business man there. I would say bar visa issues, lack of religious freedoms, language barrier, can only purchase condos/apartments, social security net,... China is vastly superior to Canada in so many ways. So China is indeed VERY attractive to Chinese who schooled in the west, especially as returning Chinese have government incentives and get paid better compared to those who studied at home. Re: Living In Canada/Life As A Canadian Immigrant Part 2 by Gerrard59(m): 2:25am On Jan 13 |
njambert:Thank you for this information. Jokes aside though, Canada cannot be compared to China in any ramification. The only country I compare China to is the US. No other Western or Western allied country is superior to China. I am interested in economics, nothing else. Kudos to Chinese elites for making their dominant land very successful for their people. Na so elites suppose dey do things. 5 Likes |

RodgersAkpafu:Alright In my opinion, there is no bromance whatsoever It's a master - serf relationship that those oligarchs are willing to maintain, and of course, these Indians who don't have the sense to see that they are being played, but instead are doing "yes sir" and massaging the ego of these (mostly white) oligarchs. @Gerrard59 you saw how it played out on twitter nau. Just happy slaves and their overlords. These were the same people that were cheering when MAGA were calling all minorities names (Lije the Haitians, Puerto Ricans, Black folks, etc) cos they thought, by being massa pet, they ate "safe" or "it does not apply to them" There is a lot to say on this topic, but it is not my intention to derail this thread. |

RodgersAkpafu: As you're in the university sector, you should know that anecdotes hardly constitute reasonable evidence. Address the issue on ground and dont throw emotional tantrums. We're talking about large groups of people in developed countries for which good dependable data is available Talking about facts 1. Indians as a group well outperform the average UK GCSE scores 2. The household wealth of Indian household only trails behind white Brits and was over 5x that off the average black African as of 2020 3. Most multinational tech firms have outsourced some of their work to India. Many have kept jobs there 4. An increasing number of folks of Indian heritage have risen to positions of authority in the West 6. Nigeria owes over $20B to india 7. Our largest local manufacturer- Dangote now has Indians running his companies 8. It was thank to India that Nigeria was able to build it's first functional refinery in decades. Why should what a racist sprouts anywhere infer any meaning to what I'm saying or how I see myself and others? Is it low self-esteem or what? Have you bothered to ask those racist folks what they think about you? If those racist folks call you a monkey, would you nod and say they're right? |

RodgersAkpafu: I had to highlight all the appalling things you typed in one response. This is not including those you typed earlier. To the extent you're asking me to go look up slur words. Why not tell me to also go look up your favourite slurs you use in describing fellow Nigerians. All this reminds me of a discussion I had with an out-of-school child decades ago who believed his major problem was the Ms world contest Nigeria was to host. The world is not made for weak minds. @mods, it's important to keep discussions here civil.

Re: Living In Canada/Life As A Canadian Immigrant Part 2 by jedisco(m): 10:33am On Jan 13 |
ednut1: You do realise that worse has been said of Nigeria and virtually any other group right? Crime is crime and should be addressed as such. Moreso when you see headlines being perpetuated, you need to step back and ask yourself why. In the UK, 10yrs + ago, it was the norm that when things went wrong in the NHS and an immigrant was involved, the entry line wiuld highlight that persons origin irrespective of whether they even went to university innthe UK or had spent decades there. All that did was foster segregation in the workplace and governing agencies to the extent that a high court had to indict governing bodies. Over the last few years, that entry line has slowly disappeared. Second example is looking at the headlines attached below- both were referencing thesame article but had already told their audience what to think even before they started reading the article. It's always worth seeing things beyond the headlines.

Re: Living In Canada/Life As A Canadian Immigrant Part 2 by RodgersAkpafu: 11:47am On Jan 13 |
jedisco: You are still missing the point When a certain group of people are over represented in the forgery of credentials to gain admissions in ur school, and other schools and even in other western counties, and it is becoming a pattern, it is now beyond an anecdote. it is credible data The SIA fiasco and the Home Office response, and the people banged up in it, is that anecdote as well? Apparently you are one of those Nigerians I meet who are in "awe" about their supposed "success" and ask themselves often why aren't Nigerians doing same. This is evident from the "facts" that you posted up there. Have the Indians out performed the Chinese both at home and in the west ? The tertiary educational attainment of the Chinese dwarfs that of the Indians They have been able to build tencenr and Huawei and co to rival Western firms China laps India by far and yet do not get the amount of heat the Indians do... E get why nothing said will make you see that side of them because like I said before, you are still looking at these folks through a rose tinted glasses. Just watch out, like me and others have said, this is the decade these fellows get derobed and demystified. It's alright 👍 👌 EDIT: As I have some free time today, lemme deconstruct this your (funny) post 1. Indians as a group well outperform the average UK GCSE scores So do Nigerian kids as well, nothing special 2. The household wealth of Indian household only trails behind white Brits and was over 5x that off the average black African as of 2020 This may be true, but is immaterial to the discourse, and figures highly skewed in favour of earlier entrants into the UK, esp the ones that were expelled from Uganda and co (Priti Patel and Rishi Sunak dem stock) The vast majority of the ones flowing in, in recent times no get shi shi, and they are the dregs... But because they do "we we", you may not tell 3. Most multinational tech firms have outsourced some of their work to India. Many have kept jobs there That's because they are happy slaves with weak labour laws. The value proposition for this and for them have always been to do 80% quality of work for 60% less pay, and that is about it. Go look at the H1B debate and look at the spin off discussions that came out of it... On how many of them were forced to train their cheap Indian replacement or not get severance. And no, they are NOT racist, that's the truth they were telling. 4. An increasing number of folks of Indian heritage have risen to positions of authority in the West So have Latinos (in America) Black folks (in America and here in the UK as well, so no big deal here) 6. Nigeria owes over $20B to india This is not true Nigeria cannot owe over 50% value of its reserves to one country. 7. Our largest local manufacturer- Dangote now has Indians running his companies Goes back to the cheap labour/sweatshop styled way of working for these guys And to add to this, they were the next cheapest alternative. because we have commensurate talent in Nigeria, but due to short termism/ some shady things, they cut themselves out, so this one was our collective fault 8. It was thank to India that Nigeria was able to build it's first functional refinery in decade Thanks to India indeed lol 😆 😂 You really believe this thing u r typing |
Re: Living In Canada/Life As A Canadian Immigrant Part 2 by RodgersAkpafu: 12:00pm On Jan 13 |
jedisco: Everything I said is the damn truth, and if u feel sone kind of way about it *shrugs* Over the last 5 years at the least, India has mass exported the dregs of their society, and they are causing issues everywhere in the west, with Canada being the Worst hit, and UK trailing just behind. Whether u choose to see it or not that one is up to you, but those of us who are not "fazed" or "mesmerised" by their "so called success ad a group" can see through everything Telling you to go look the word jeer/pajeet was to dispel that funny thought of yours that the west us not tired of the influx of Indians into their societies. Apparently the point flew over as well. Lacking emotional intelligence of a large scale: of course they do! Did you see the reaction of a lot of half witted Indians when there was an unsubstantiated report that they own "most" of the property in London " Go check it up and ask yourself honestly whether that is a position to take publicly of people who have emotional intelligence and yes, the last one, they are yt ppl pet You haven't seen how they act as groupies around them ? Esp at the work place? Man I don't even want to get started I will overtype. There is even historical context and reference to support this argument (look into the "buffer class" creation by the Brits in East Africa and the Caribbean) that is them being their pet, as long as they remember and remain in their place It is what it is my bro I'm sure @tensazangetsu20 and @ednut1 and others here can regale us with a lot of these experiences. Apparently its just you and those who think like you (like my paddy Dotman) that us blind to all these excesses but are in awe about their "success" What I /we have said is the uncomfortable truth whether you like it or not |
Re: Living In Canada/Life As A Canadian Immigrant Part 2 by RodgersAkpafu: 12:09pm On Jan 13 |
Am average Nigerian kid outperform the average British/Western kid as well... An average Nigerian immigrants into this country (esp in recent times, like in the last 10 years) is more educated than am average white brit Nigerians are also under represented in crime as a group (if you desegregate the Black British crime data, it will be clear to see) We have our people rise through the ranks of Parliament as well, with that lady from Newcastle and Heck, even Kemi is the leader of the Conservative party today, who appointed a shadow cabinet The only (major) difference between us and them is... again Nigerians (and black ppl in general) run solo races / on your own / little collaboration while their side tend to collaborate and cooperate more. that's it. I know Nigerians who make it a policy position not to hire Nigerians, or feel uncomfortable working with other Nigerians Indians appear to not have such problem We are also high performers as well, and HATE IT when a Nigerian come with the sentiments that jediaco come with, pedestalising Indians. Do they have their good side ? Yes! powered by their top decile of people (like it is for virtually every group) But you cannot ignore or play down the many many negatives as well, especially as it is becoming a recurring decimal He is talking about data Okay there is also verifiable data that states : Most foreigners who do fraudulent LMIAs are of Indian heritage (by a long shot) Most of the people indicted in Express Entry fraudulent activities are also... you h guessed right, Indians What about those using fake certificates and credentials to gain admissions? so far the data states over 70 plus % comes from one country Fake experiences on CV nko? Mindless nepotism ? (this is where they ask group exhibit their lack of emotional intelligence the most) Go look at what they've done to TIm Hortons... @Gerrard59 |
