Samueltemi337: The transfer cost was not the largest problem for Feyenoord, but the striker's wage would prove to be the most difficult one. Therefore, the purchase option, valid till June 1st, could not be exercised. https://www.zonalsports.com/transfers/cyriel-dessers-transfers-nottingham-forest 1 Like |

Super Eagles need world class centre backs, b2b midfielders, creative midfielders to complement the world class forwards, wing backs and goalie we have No sentiments We need to win the next Afcon Drop names of the next Sunday Mba, Taribo West Dele Bashiru, Joe Aribo are not creative They’re goal scoring offensive type of midfielders to me Maybe Dele Bashiru will do well as b2b midfielder Ndidi, Onyeka play really well as DM I’ve never really seen them play a fantastic game for the super eagles as b2b midfielders I still need to watch more games of Onyedikachi & Chrisantus to conclude on my observations 1 Like |

TheGoodJoe:Yes there is open camping based on recommendations.I remember we had this discussion on open camping with different views. . If player don't get connect for open screening forget it bro......you don't just carry your bags and said oh am going to Under 17 camp for screening. Manu Garba and Emma Amunike open screening was based on recommendations so there is different between open screening and recommendations for open screening, players like Victor Osimhen, Kelechi Nwakali, Iheanacho,Success,Awoniyi and others all made it to eagles camp on recommendations for open camping,in fact Awoniyi made it based on Olofinjana recommendations after UK under 15 coca cola summer camp in London. 1980s-90s youth teams successes are on well rooted grassroots systems, picking players from principal cup,Manuwa Adebanjo cup,National sports festival and states YSFON teams. Nigeria now have pools of football academies as an advantages now, from Lagos,Anambra,Imo,Jos,Kaduna,Oyo and other states there are enough talents in those academy schools to pick from to form open camping and mind you there is no real street footballing again cuz they are all attached to one academy or the other. The major issue with our youth teams is more than open screening but poor developmental programs from NFF and the same system is affecting the senior team but our Europe based players always giving us the confidence that no matter what we will manoeuver our way but when reality set in like WC qualifying standing now we are realizing that wahala dey . 8 Likes |

Belgian league top scorer Tolu Arokodare is among the several uncapped players new Super Eagles coach Eric Chelle is tracking ahead of crucial 2026 World Cup qualifiers in March. Arokodare, 24, who has yet to be capped by the Super Eagles, has come into his own this season with 13 goals for Genk to top the Belgian Jupiler Pro League. The big striker was also followed by Augustine Eguavoen, when he was in temporary charge of the Super Eagles. A top source informed SCORENigeria: “Eric and his staff are monitoring a very long list of players, both those in the current team as well outside the team. “The boy in Genk (Arokodare) is one of the players being tracked, he’s doing well. “There are also some players in England, who have not yet been considered for the national team.” However, the source was also quick to say that the players yet to be capped may not necessarily be involved in the matches in March. “The qualifiers in March are very crucial, time for the team to be together is also short and victories in the games against Rwanda and Zimbabwe are not negotiable,” he said. “We therefore just have to wait and see whether the coach will freshen the squad with some new players.” #copied |

There was actually an open screening in different states of Nigeria for the 2013 and 2015 teams. Some players were picked on recommendation as well as based on previous stints with the u15 teams Kog45: 1 Like |

Kog45:I am not defending boniface but scoring for fun in German league as well as champions league cause I think boniface has played 3 Cl match and he has very good game in all scoring against Milan I don’t think he will be dropped the worst he will be invited and be on the bench that the immunity he is enjoying over some other strikers and people Belive he will come good for super eagles too |

Samueltemi337:There is different between opinion and attack....am talking about Boniface performance so far with eagles.... Osimhen was on the bench twice with Boni starting,he seized the opportunity right?.....my point why downplaying others and telling me to wait for Boniface goals and assists for eagles. I'm not Dessers fan,in fact I don't rate him much but telling me Dessers don't deserve call up just cuz Boniface dey tear net for Leverkusen. 3 Likes 1 Share |
