Starting from now, all new applications are done via the consular service portal, both cat A and B. In the online application, there is the category for Category A (Study – Specific qualifications) and Category B (Application (Language Course) or
Study Regular). That's why there isn't Category A or B on the appointment website anymore.

For now, patience. The opportunity card visa has been updated to a first come first serve process. So those who have their university degrees verified and have BA/SL can submit their docs then get an appointment asap. It's gonna take a while for studies visa to have similar flow, that's because that category has more backlogs. So let's keep watching for now

Nigerians have been getting visa approvals already. The moment you have your BA/SL and your degree is recognized, you can apply asap

Evidently. You can only be granted the Visa 3 months before your data of arrival. So July is the calculated date.

Its already part of the checklist. With the rapid changes at the embassy, he can be denied the visa on this requirement. The payment plan of the university is independent of the consulate's decision. If you can get a 2-month loan for the tuition, pay it. The moment you get to Deutschland, you can withdraw such a mouth completely at once since it's different from the normal monthly means of livelihood.

Alternatively, he can attend. Pray that the VO will not tag your application as incomplete. But one thing is sure, you must show proof of the one year tuition

Let the email be heavy on your school not willing to give you summer admission, That way, you'll be rescheduled for winter 2025 window

Nope, but they won't get the visa until it's within the 3 months window. One of the reasons why you see people waiting for Long and someone who interviewed after them gets the visa first.

okay i used the old website but i want to know if i do not want to do study visa and want to switch to opportunity card, do i have to cancel the study ? i am asking because i do not want them to see that i am applying for 2 application at once

Explain it to them the way you just wrote. Inform them the admission you have expired because of delayed AD, and you need time to get through same winter admission

Since Embassy is now asking for a proof of tuition for the first year in a private university. Will they accept if the tuition payment is Blocked in form of a separate block account instead?

No one can tell you that for now. My best guess will be after they've cleared the current backlog. They're issuing around 30 days of AD appointments per week currently
