Haaa, the best in those era are already returning home. RIP baba daadaa. God please keep baba obasanjo for us. We still need him around. I hope Pa Clark's death didn't happen as a result of the news of his friend, baba adebanjo's death oo. Cos na so 2 of my mum's friends heard of her death and they too left shortly after. One of the even attended her funeral and we exchanged greetings that day. One of her sons is my friend sef. My mum died aged 90yrs

Nigeria lost two nonagenarians few days apart to the cold hands of death: Pa Ayo Adebanjo at age 96 and E. K. Clarke at 97.

They were not just elder statesmen; they were freedom fighters. They were committed to ensuring that Nigeria positioned herself on the path of greatness. They both had a common presidential candidate in the last general elections whom they believed was fit and suitable to accomplish their dreams for Nigeria, and that is Peter Obi! This wasn't a coincidence. These men were not igbos. There is an adage that says, "what an elderly man sees while sitting, a little child may never see it, even if he climbs the iroko tree".

It is now in the hands of us, the living, to ensure their dreams come true.

R.I.P to the duo, Pa Ayo Adebanjo and E.K. Clarke!
