Hope you read lukman comment before you come to wail again

In lukman comment, ....it was the designated player that asked him to play the penalty

Even if he didn't say that, going public to attack his players, is totally wrong for coach, not even a coach that didn't select lukman in first half and in which, opponent already trashed them 3.0 down without Lukman.Yet, not attack any of the remaining players but singled out lukman for criticism.

Bayern Munich not winning any trophy last year, coach never for once went public to attack any of his player. Same thing for Man city or Chelsea this year poor run of form.

Napoli should tell Atlanta what they experienced about Nigerians.

Napoli is doing well without Kvara and Victor, most thought they’d struggle

I don't know why Italian Clubs are fond of it that, just one mistake out of a million good deeds, and they will use it against you as if they had been waiting for you to commit the error. Same thing Napoli fans did to Osimhien.

One thing I have learnt about Italians generally is that MOST of them (young or old) are psychopaths. Skoin-skoin dey their heads. I would have said all of them are weyrey; the only exception I have seen in the whole of Italy is Carlo Ancelotti, coach of Real Madrid.

Funny how you you’ll criticize your favorite club’s players and think it’s fine but a coach can’t criticize his player who stepped out of line.

Lookman’s greatest moments in football came at Atalanta, because the the teams and atmosphere was right for him to flourish.

Considering what was at stake, and the penalty pecking order, the coach has to speak his mind.

I remember when a similar thing happened in to Victor Osimhen, he wasn’t the designated kicker but struggled, got the ball, kicked it and missed. He got criticized by fans and coach and started whining that he wants to leave.

These criticisms are normal, players have gotten too soft and emotional

The current Chelsea will not even bid for him. Coach o, owners o, they all just mumu. Like, they believe in Jackson as a top striker and if anything, they can surprisingly buy Darwin Nunez to compete with him as the top striker grin
Honestly, it’s sickening..

They’re the most useless club owners on earth..

Did you watch the match? It was their main penalty taker that told him to take the penalty. He didn’t just rush to the spot to take the penalty..

You are trying to sound intelligent but your comment is showing otherwise.

For context:
1. Lookman has never lost a penalty for the club before this particular one. Played 4 scored 4.
2. Retegue, one of the designated penalty takers has lost two this season alone.
3. Retegue is an Italian and there is no record of where he was publicly criticized by the coach.
4. Lookman approached the two designated penalty takers and they gave him the go ahead to take the penalty.
5. Every coach has the right to criticize their players but most of them are intelligent not to criticize them publicly for losing a penalty. You can butress your point with examples of coaches who have criticized players for losing a penalty before.

I knew you’ll come with some disrespectful attitude. I however appreciate your perspective, makes sense.

I saw Retegui the highest goal scorer miss a penalty and they went on the lose to Bologna I think but the stakes were different. This was a champions league elimination game. I see this coach player rift happen all the time, even in the NBA. It’s all emotions at play, it’s normal. In some cases this criticism comes from players alike

What makes the stakes higher?
The club already lost the first leg, conceded three in the first half of the second leg, scored a goal to make the result a bit respectable and all of a sudden, a coach that was looking for someone to blame for his ineptitude now realize that the team can win the UCL.

Bottom line: The comment is more out of racism than anything going by antecedents.

Its necessary to reply him publicly since the manager chose to criticize him publicly without respect, can you see Pep, Ancelloti, Klopp criticize their player to that extent of you are the worst penalty taker I've ever seen

He needs to be very careful now before the exist. Don't ever take any penalties. Just score your normal goals and leave honorable. Yeye coach and defenders. Why didn't he start Lookman early enough? Why did they conceded 3 stupid golas like that? You committed a blunder and needed someone from the bench, who you don't care so much about, to rescue you? Na inside shalanga dem go find themselves later grin
