Obnoxious2001: Ok.. Thanks I want to connect all 4 panels in series. Please can you suggest any good MPPT charge controller that will be able to handle the resulting voltage. |

Unless u use hybrid inverter wey fit accommodate the 240v voc. Other controller that can accommodate such are as expensive as the hybrid inverter itself. Eg 140a powmr CC can take 60-450v. N it's for 24/48v system. Is ur system 24/48v? stuffs2002:

Jefferyzz: My system is 24V because I have two 12V batteries I am currently using an MPPT charge controller that I got online with maximum input PV at 230Voc in my other house and I have been using it for over 2 years without issues. I am considering getting same charge controller for this second installation but I am not sure it will accommodate the voltage of 240Voc since I am considering installing all the 4 panels in series. cc: Obnoxious2001

I have a neighbour who is interested in solar because he saw how reliable my own system is, problem is that he has a lean budget (1.1m). @valto and other gurus in the house, can his budget setup a reliable 12v system with a lifepo4 battery+hybrid inverter+reasonably sized solar panels? What would you recommend? My setup is a 24v system, and he can't afford that. Thank you |

Got 12 100 yesterday for 177k.. And if am to buy 3 it goes for 170k.. They always like to cheat.. I mean the 9ja guys there.. They will never ever open their mouth to tell you the price.. I enter and told them i want to buy battery and their 1st question was from where.. Asin cant a random person just enter and buy battery.. They just want to be sure if i know the current price... Told them where i came from and the next thin was to drop me acct to make payment.. They didnt even say more then 3 words.. They were very very disapponted.. ManAdii: 3 Likes |

In my own opinion, I suggest we stick to what works for us as individual. We can never roll out the aspect of trust in business and other indices. Mr A might sell grade B cell at 50k while Mr B might cell the same quality of cell at 80k. Someone might prefer to still buy from Mr B at a higher price because of trust and customer support services. With my limited time, I will still advice that whoever wants to buy grade A cell should first of all collect the manufacturer test report and forward it to Ev Company for verification before making payment. The Company email address is everywhere and the response is given within 48 hrs. 5 Likes |

It should 555w panel * 3 = 375k 12v 2kva 230-260k (cworth/SMS) 12V 100AH LFP * 2 from cworth (less than 400k) Or 12v 3.5kwh LFP 450k (if he doesn't mind wooden box) PV cables, 2.5mm corper cables , breakers (if he isn't buying the premium brands) will cost him about 120 - 140k androsurf: |

Mrreed: Thank you so much for this insight, really appreciate it. Sorry to bother you further, Is the Cworth batteries coupled with bms already? I would prefer a coupled lifepo4 ready to use battery for him as he's not a DIY person. |

ManAdii: Wow...and he was telling me 590k...I bought my first battery directly from him, messaged him yesterday for another and he said 590k when the price is 555,000... I noticed my first purchase he didn't send receipt with the order and when I found out and insisted, he said it's an electronic invoice which took him 2 days to generate... As at last year he sold it to me for 620k... |

Compliant: No, 1hp is approximately 750watt plus additional 150watt, making a total of 900watt multiply by 12hours, making 10800watthour. So ur best bet is a 15kwh battery, at full charge, it will suit ur need |
Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by Valto(m): 1:31pm On Mar 09 |
Compliant:800w inverter Ac consumption ,plus another 150w load ,plus inverter working consumption. approximately 1000w for 12hrs. u need a fully charged 15kwh to 17kwh battery for overnight use! |

I noticed the same with them.they are usually secretive with the price. Different prices here and there.they like using statement '"tell them you are from so so person"..to me it seems their marketers usually increase price from the official price...this is not really good. Haykay2001: 2 Likes |
