A government announced in May 2024 that it has increased minimum wage from 30k to 70k due to the high prices of things which followed its ill advised economic policies . Even though this increment does not scratch the surface in cushioning the effect of the economic crisis on the people’s disposable income, yet the people are willing to take the increment and move on with their lives hoping things will get better as promised by the APC government since they took power in 2015 even when the reality has shown things have always gotten worse under them .

The same government increased the 33k that was being paid NYSC members to 77k on paper .In the last 10 Months since this was agreed , the NYSC has paid their members 33k as against the newly announced 77k and there has been no uproar whatsoever . Life just continued 🤦‍♂️

Now someone who should've been a beneficiary of that extra 44k per month comes out to vent her frustrations about how life has been unfair , how the person who heads the government has been a terrible leader and suddenly every ediot out there starts attacking her , her source of income, her choice of lifestyle , her supposed political leaning , her side hustle , her morals , her choice of meal , etc .
