Roland17: I'll leave the messenger (Scambiu) and take the message. And he's damn right. You stopped a vehicle to search You found more than 10 people with guns, dogs, matches, hoes and other personal belongings. They didn't attack you, they didn't try to run. They explained themselves as hunters going to Rivers from Kano I mean ..... What's the justification to kill them? I am not saying you should allow them to go. But shouldn't there be enough proof to identify them as the kidnappers or hunters? Omoh. God, abeg 4 Likes 1 Share |

izzou:You see this country, we should just divide everyone to face their region Looking at the story, I strongly condemn the killing and I hope the culprits are brought to book But why are they travelling with guns, The report says they are going for eid festival do they need guns there? Don't they have an association ID card to prove they are hunters, what of the guns license? The country is currently facing severe insecurity, hardship etc it's as if we are living on landmine across the country Any wrong movement could be fatal Then the werey kwankasor the werey didn't speak during deborah incident 1 Like |

sod09: So what time did the mob give to investigate and find out these questions you highlighted? In my opinion, I have no "BUT" here. This is too bad. |
Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by sod09(m): 4:53pm On Mar 28 |
izzou:It's because of but I was asking those questions The country is battling kidnappers and herdsmen. we have heard situations where some suspected herdsmen were arrested by community Police release them, and they came back to wreck havoc |

izzou: This ugly incident is just a pointer that there's deeply rooted disaffection amongst the people of this country towards one another. It is also an indication that there's failure in the security apparatus of the state as a whole. The only reason why vigilante will be mounting road blocks and stopping vehicles embarking on interstate journey is because we have a situation of failure of the regular security agents. So the people resort to self help where local vigilante who are not properly trained stop vehicles, interrogate passengers and pass their judgement on whether such passenger qualifies as a law abiding citizen or a potential kidnapper. I'm sure if it were to be police or any regular security patrol team that stopped those guys, we shouldn't be having a case of mob action that we are having now. If police accost travelers with guns, their either arrest them or allow them to pass having being satisfied they are harmless hunters with hunting guns and not criminals. Also, the fact that there's been repeated cases of kidnappings in that part of Edo state definitely made the mob to be on edge when those victims were stopped by the local vigilante. I guess they just tagged them fulani herdsmen who have been kidnapping people and meted jungle justice to them. You are right, Kwankwanso and Atiku's comments on the issue are not out of line. I believe the police will arrest as many people as possible amongst those that appeared in the jungle justice video being circulated online. Some innocent people will Sha enter sanko! I wonder why people will gather in such scenes and be filming such barbaric acts |
Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 5:01pm On Mar 28 |
sod09: I have not asked them to be released to the police. I am simply saying where was the room for investigating that truly, they were kidnappers? In this same Nigeria, a guy was caught with a woman's head in a bag in Abuja. The people that caught him took time to prove that he was a murderer. They even followed him to his house to prove that he did dismember that girl. If they burnt that guy, don't you think he did it? 10 people were burnt, and the proof is that herdsmen dey kidnap people. This is way too bad. Ahn Ahn 4 Likes |

BlueRayDick: The report is that the vigilantes were overpowered by the mob, and it was the mob that burnt them. As local as vigilantes are, the local police station work with them. You cannot form a vigilante and put checkpoints without the consent and approval of the Police The vigilantes probably detained them, waiting for the police or to investigate more, but the mob was not going to have that. I no even know wetin to call this one sef. |

disstroyy have you seen the below? Oya come and school them Former Barcelona and Brazil defender Dani Alves has had a rape conviction overturned on appeal by a Spanish court. The appeals division of Catalonia's High Court of Justice unanimously upheld the appeal by the 41-year-old and acquitted him, saying the case against him had "inconsistencies and contradictions". "The complainant's account, which should have been subjected to greater scrutiny, has not been compared with the fingerprint and biological evidence, which support the defence's argument." Further, the court ruled that the complainant's argument that she went with Alves into the bathroom for fear that his friends might follow them did not appear reasonable. It concluded that the alleged victim instead "voluntarily went to the bathroom area for the purpose of being with the defendant in a more intimate space". The Catalan court also lifted all restrictions on Alves, including a travel ban and restraining order. However, the decision can still be appealed to the Supreme Court. "Alves is very happy. He is innocent, that is demonstrated. Justice has spoken," his lawyer Ines Guardiola told RAC1 radio. Alves had trophy-laden spells with Sevilla, Barcelona, Juventus and Paris St-Germain and also helped Brazil win two Copa Americas and an Olympic gold medal at the age of 38. https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/articles/c8rkrgx3x11o#:~:text=Former%20Barcelona%20and%20Brazil%20defender,had%20%22inconsistencies%20and%20contradictions%22. |

sod09: Tomorrow, a guy with dreads will be walking by. A lady will shout "Rapist, Rapist" The mob will gather and burn him Then the justification is that ladies are being raped in the area everytime, and na guys on dreads dey do am. I no dey get feelings if a heartless murder is killed, but someone who could be innocent is something else. 4 Likes 1 Share |
