Same here, but the charges is insignificant, except the ride is Comfort booking, if it's those economy, Na waste of time, the waiting charge isn't worth it.
The driver shouldn't have gone to pickup if unable to reach the rider, just cancel and move on, use other request to cover for the score drop

Once I get ride.
The first thing I do is to call the person number first before making any move. .
His can you drive without calling the number or charting the person on the app

Women are the most difficult creatures created by God. Take it from me who is into hookup runs with them.

During my early days, some of them will book me to come and service them here in Abuja and I will spend my money to book a ride only to get to the destination and their phones will either be switched off, not available or you'll call and they won't answer.

Some will even have the audacity to tell you that "something came up" and they don't need your service at the moment and then I'll end up paying the Bolt guy money which should have been used for something else.

So with the prices of petrol on the high, I make it clear to them when they call me...

* Before leaving my house, you will send me money for my transport to your destination (and that includes going and coming back)...or...you will book a ride for me with your own app and pay me what is known as a remittance which tallies with the price that you and the driver reached on the app after the booking so that if I come and you no do, I pay the driver ALTHOUGH I PREFER THE FIRST OPTION.

That was how one order for my ride today and drove a long distance to get to her place send her message that I am around and she called back to confirmed if was actually there and asked I should wait for her. After waiting for about 8 minutes she just canceled the ride without notifying me . And thing is very annoying. And bolt is not doing anything about it

Na so most people de do. They will order ride and won’t be reachable, so more wicked ones will give u directions for pickup only for u to get there and they’re switched off, some will order ride as soon as u accept boom! They cancel and all these things have negative impact on drivers score. Sometimes sef u will want to beat up some runs girls and yahoo boiz who are rude but when u remember say na bolt u take de survive and if they report u it can attract 6months suspension u will just calm down and keep quiet til they get down. Anything for 5 star ratings is important 😂. In all this has been a much needed experience and I will enjoy it whilst it lasts, it’s taught me to be patient.

I met some very sensible people that encouraged me, that d job is jst for a while and that I'll soon get a better one and praised d hustling spirit....i noticed dat people who usually encouraged me are d very rich ones...
