1. They abuse their powers by arresting and putting in prison anyone who speaks against them. What then is the difference between them and politicians?

2. They oppress younger ministers they perceive carry unusual grace. And when such ministers try to leave to establish their own ministries, they frustrate them.

I could go on and on.

But to arrest a person who speaks FALSELY against another is not a matter of being a Christian or not. Do you have any idea how terrible a false allegation could be, and the effect on one's family, one's life and one's mental health?

I believe OP must have someone in mind but let me tell you something. Being a GO or church founder don't make you a mumu. If someone deserves arrest because he is constituting a threat to you or spoiling your image then let them be arrested. The police and courts to to decide.
Any pastor junior or senior who feels he can start his own church who is a GO or founder to stop him or her. Is slavery allowed? You think it is easy to start church and keep it going? Let me tell you all a story. A big church biggest in Africa at one time one of his pastors in USA took over his church changed name and all. He came to Nigeria and also with some other senior pastor

OP, are you or the public that voted the GOs into office like the public office holders so that you can query, recall or impeach them?

Are they called by the people or by God to serve?

Are they ministers/ representatives of the people or of God ?

This is a spiritual matter and not political that can be thrown to the public for debating.

Christian God is not an image/ idol , but the God that created the heaven and the earth and everything there in.

Do your own part by obeying the word of God that says of Jesus " this is my believeth son hear ye him" . Also hear the word of God that says ' I am the way the truth and the life no one can get to the father except through me'. Then do the needful and be genuinely born
again.

The GOs that you mentioned will face the judgement of God and received their rewards. Moreover there are so many bible verses in both old and new testament that warns tell the people how to identify fake prophets/ pastors and to avoid them.

So if you see any followers of so called fake men of God, it either they are both the same or they are unbelievers.

To be a church founder or GO isn't a walk in a park. It requires much sacrifices including extended fasting, long hours of prayers, expansive evangelism, selfless giving, etc.

Such leaders often think their sacrifices warrants them greater reverence and respect from their followers.

Some have an entitled mentality and
expect to be honored by their flock notwithstanding. Some think they are above criticism as highly Anointed of God.

But it's wrong, because no one is 100% perfect.

They have been steadfast, resolute and committed.
I hold no grudge against them. They downplay commercialization of churches.
They entertain persecutions a lot, in fact more than several Christian bodies.
Seems in their church everyone is at same level irrespective of your degree, financial acquaintance and contacts.
And it seems they obey the Bible the most:
-They hardly disturb neighbors during prayers.
-They frown at intimidation and flamboyant lifestyles.
-They ensure financial gifts are covered and never displeased at whatever they recieve.
-Their members would make good politicians but they frown at politics

I respect them. I judge based on actions and not what I'm told.

Then you know nothing about JW. Ask that person you responded to, to tell you about JW apostates. Or their current running battle in Norway. Do you know as a JW, if you attempt to leave the organisation your family completely cuts you off? Those guys are a cult abeg. With all the sleaze happening in the New York HQ? Or the racism in place that ensures leadership of the organisation is only from a group of white males? The flip flopping that Jehovah disallowed something only for them to come back now to say it is allowed? Men couldn't grow beards until very recently? Make i continue?

Some people don't understand how organization set up by men works. When the organization gets birthed, they are set up using specific policies, procedures, rules and regulations that is meant to protect that baby organization to full grown adult organization.

That is why those in the field of management knows their organization is a person at law. The founder of that religious organization can be SUED by the same ORGANIZATION(person at law) that he set up or the owner SUE his own ORGANIZATION(person at law). What this means is that the very thing you set up as organization(person at law) can send you to prison or to your death if you are not careful to live by the rules, regulations, policies and procedures that guides and protect what you set up.

A recent example of this.....

The federal government has suspended the law that forced Enoch Adeboye to step down as the Nigeria overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG). The Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria (FRC), under Jim Obazee, had directed not-for-profit organisations — including churches and mosques — to comply with a corporate governance code stipulating a term of 20 years for heads of such entities. It was by this provision that Adeboye, who had spent over 20 years as GO of RCCG, named Joshua Obayemi to head the Nigeria church although he stressed the he remained the worldwide overseer of the church.

From the above you can easily see how what Adeboye set up and the policies, procedures, rules and regulations that guides or protect what he set up or subscribe to can easily kill Adeboye sharperly and nothing will happen. I could remember it took the intervention of Buhari and others who cried out loud about it.

A lesson for many under those kind of organization and establishment. If you can't deal with the policies, procedures, rules and regulations protecting those establishments by those who set it up, leave before that establishment kills you and nothing happens. That you are a pastor or whatever does not make you or equate you as the organization. You remain a tool working for the survival and growth of the organization and as a tool you can be discarded as at when the organization sees it fit that you are useless or not fit for purpose not to talk of working against the organization paapaa grin

It is because when the wicked are in charge, trust breaks down. But when righteous leaders rise, authority becomes credible, and God is honored. "When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn." (Proverbs 29:2)
