I Love Him,but: ? by switchic2(f): 3:06am On Dec 04, 2007 |
Hi Guys, please i need your advice. There's a guy way back in school that was asking me out,for about 2years.He's 29 and I m 25.We were very good friends then and i told him I couldn't date him then because i thought he wasn't serious. He eventually got tired and stopped asking me out and started dating someone else. After a while,i started dating someone else, but i discovered it was him i loved and not my own boyfriend, but since he already had a babe, there was nothing i could do.He also told me he loved me,but he was already hooked with his babe whom he told about me.He tried breaking up with her ,but couldn't and since i had a boyfriend,he didn't want to risk loosing both ways.To cut d long story short,we both endured our relationships and graduated, though we kept in touch. After a while we broke up our respective relationships and still remained good friends. He kept on telling me he loved me,but is scared that i can't wait for him since he doesn't have a job yet.I love him deeply and told him I can wait, because I don't want to loose him again.my problem now is,he hasn't asked me out again,i tried convincing him of my willingness to wait and he keeps saying he loves me,but since he's jobless,he doesn't want to keep me waiting, saying that,He doesn't know how long it will take before he gets a job.He started calling me once in a while.I can't really call him my boyfriend,or even say we are dating, but I know he loves me very much.I got fed up,and stopped calling him,but i can't seem to get him out of my mind.I haven't met any guy like him. Please advice me,What should i do?Should i move on with my life,or b patient and wait for him? |

he has every right to be sceptical about you seeing that you rebuffed him the first time because, as you claim, he was not serious. If you truly love him, sit him down and have a down to earth talk . . . what are his plans for his future and do they include you job or not? All these "i wont call him" stuff is not the right way to go about issues like this. 1 Like 1 Share |

He may come around. But tell him that you love him and you reallly wanna be with him. I understand the way he feels in regards to his job situation because I know he wants to be that guy who will take care of u. Just let him know how you reallly feel. Hope this bit helps 1 Like |

hmmm girls and their incessant forming. haven't they learnt that it will get them nowhere? anyway, swit chic2, but my advice is: follow your heart; it ALWAYS helps. Besides, the guy really must love you to tell you all that. If he didn't he'd have said hell yes and jumped into bed with you at the next available opportunity!!! 1 Like |

you are not willing to wait, you just want to be sure you have him, while being open to other suitors. your plan is: if he gets a good job in time then you marry him, if someone else comes while you are waiting for him, you won't even think twice. I know this exact scenario. the guy should leave you, leave other girls too, pay for sex when he needs it and build a career. |

switchic2: Sorry about your worries. That guy is a very good guy. He knows that not having a job does not qualify him to date. I am also glad you are aware that going into relationship without finance is very dangerous. There Is no romance without finance. As cliché As that sounds, it's nothing short of hard-biting, bitter truth. Every marriage and relationship truly needs money to pulsate with proper excitement. The relationship is sweeter when the partners involved have good means of earning income, the main reason workingandsingle.com are promoting workable relationships for employed singles. If you are working and single, seize the opportunity to meet with other working and single guys interested in serious relationship in view of marriage. |
