Two weeks after writing the above he changed tact and still expect to be taken seriously.

I love the young man and I respect his opinion and change of reasoning. grin

But bad company corrupt good manner... APC Company corrupts with propaganda.

Only time shall tell.

drauj: Some of us campaigned for the GEJ we once thought would choose to stand firm against corruption, nepotism, divisive tendencies and poor governance but today we know better.
We are totally rooting for a purposeful, responsible and determined leadership that has courage and compassion. As for now, we don't see it coming from GEJ and if anyone can prove to us he is the man, we will concede to that and support him. We are not guided by greed, we are men and women of reasoning and are open to reasons.

Its possible to change your opinion when you disagree with the direction of governance. What's not possible is to write detailed ills of a man and then do a u-turn within two weeks. Discerning adults don't open threads to castigate a person then doublespeak a week later and still expect to be taken serious. You have to be batshiit insane if you think you still have credibility after that.

barcanista: I understand your concern for age, I once had it but bros it is inconsequential. It is not about old age but what is brought on the table. Uzor Kalu was one of the youngest governor in 1999-2007, but you can't compare his performance to that of his contemporaries like BAT who are older in age. Gabriel Suswam of Benue State was young when elected but his Ideas and performance is a celebration of mediocrity-compare him to "OLD" Ajimobi of Oyo State or Oshiomole. What we should be interested in is ideas. Even the PDP major players are "OLD" men. Anenih, is 80plus and he is the Chairman of Nigeria Port Authority. Boni Haruna who is supposed to be "Youth Minister" is 50plus in age. The "Ambassador @ Large" Bamanga Tukur is a very old man. What about defense Minister General Aliyu Gusau who has been in government for STRAIGHT 30plus years? Are you talking about SGF Ayim Pius Ayim who is 60plus? It is not about their age per se but what they have to offer. I support young people to aspire for leadership position but it will be ridiculous to make that a priority

Give it up friend, Buhari as a serial failure cannot rule Nigeria again. Or do you really wish to be rule by a Failure personified

How is he a failure? Last I check, Winners never quit. Losing election in controversial circumstances shouldn't be interpreted as failure. In fact, 2003 and 2007 elections were pathetic to say the least, especially 2007. Of the 8 Supreme Court Justices, 4 upheld Yar Adua's victory, 3 said Buhari Won, while just 1 voted for Atiku. Even the President then admitted the flaw. In fact, the court upturned guber results of Ekiti, Edo, Osun and Ondo states. Many Legislators were sacked too

Just learn from me. On daily basis, I use to have an average of 40mentions and I would only respond to about 5 relevant ones and ignored the rest.

Just know we are in a state of e-political war with the enemies of Nigeria, and every minute counts till Feb 2015. Moreover many of them are jobless, who live and derive their daily bread from Nairaland. So my comrade, always ignore them, it touches the them the more!

Ok.

We already discussed this issue remember... APC should provide a formidable candidate and not those that the Nigeria ancestors had placed curses upon.

Oya modify your previous post. There is something called destiny. GMB is a man of destiny and God wants to use him to fix things. History tells us that Nigeria was near collapse in 1983 prior to when GMB was appointed President, he changed things around. Right now the whole country seems to be collapsing, GMB will turn things around.
