If INEC clearance was that authentic why was Fayose perturbed to the point of ordering and supervising the beating of a judge as well as the damage done to court records. note that this didn't happen once.

In as much as i don't want to speak for him but i have heard/read many versions of what transpired that day. The judge said he was not slapped by Fayose as initially alleged and Fayose too claimed he never supervised nor order any attack on the judge.

Governor Elect Ayo Fayose must be sworn in come October 15, 2014 to avert the disaster cum revolution that will consume the Elites (Politicians and Judges inclusive) involved in trying to subvert the will of the people.

Judicial Activisms must be stopped to uphold the supremacy of the people as the ultimate source of Democratic Power.

Every attempt to subvert Democracy by the Military or Judicial Political Activists masquerading as Magistrates and Judges must be stopped and forced to abide by the law rather than being Law themselves.

About two days ago i viewed a repeat version of a political programme on Television Continental, the chairman and secretary of E-11 were guests.

Inspite of their efforts to make viewers believe they are messiahs trying to save ekiti from Fayose they only end up exposing themselves.

Its a shame that some elements are attempting to subvert the will of the people under the guise of rule of law.

Even the anchor of the programme was biased until some callers challenged him. He was putting words in their mouth. Only when he was challenged did he call for those on Fayose's side to come and air their own side of the matter.

This is not a regional matter. Ekiti citizens are defending their choice, the mandate to govern their state.

The same people that voted Ayo Fayose will never allow few power hungry megalomaniacs to subvert their right to choose who governs them.

There are so many Senior Advocates of Nigeria (SANs) on nairaland these days. But unfortunately Fayose's case will not be determined on nairaland. Until a court of competent jurisdiction rules against him, Fayose remains the governor-elect of Ekiti state and he will be sworn-in on October 16, 2014. The legal battle can continue after he assumes office as the Governor of Ekiti state. Please don't forget that the legal battle will drag on for years because the case will be dragged up to the Supreme court. The only hope the E-11 have is to prevent his swearing-in on October 16, but I'm afraid that is too late now.

I really appreciate ur use of the phrase "baring other circumstances"? That "other circumstances" is what we call politics. This is a game of politics, and not a computer game. But bear it in mind that no one can stop the swearing-in ceremony except a court pronouncement.

True.

The duo also affirmed to viewers that Segun Oni and Fayemi are members of E-11. So do they expect people to believe their action is not politically motivated? Its unfortunate that the will of the people that ought to be supreme is being relegated.

And what is a law without the people, our constitution need to be critically look into and overhauled 'cos its flawed. Imagine a situation where a citizen who steal food due to hunger may bag 15yrs imprisonment while a politician/govt employee will only receive less or at most 2yrs jail term for stealing billions of naira.

They should be reminded that other tribes and ethnics are watching them both within and outside the shore of Nigeria.

I think we can see the "progressives" in their true form now.
The bible says that everything that is carefully concealed must be exposed. You've used all your media propaganda and that didn't work. Fayemi the horrible, insufferable, hypocritical, pretentious, obnoxious snake of human being lost in all 16 local government areas including his own. His own hometown voted him out.
Now yeye don dey smell. They're trying all the dirty tricks in their arsenal to remain in power by force.
Shebi October 16 is just next week.
Let's see which hurricane will stop Fayose from being sworn in.

Is a real pity a citizen, educated at that is threatening violence if the provision of the law from which the very governorship powers is derived and binds us all together as a people is implemented.

It is a real pity educated Nigerians lack understanding of what a constitution means, the understanding that makes US constitution crafted in 1776 still relevant and revered till this moment

Though i am not a spokesperson for Fayose but I believed INEC cleared him to contest the election. And if he wasn't qualified as claimed by E-11, he should have been stopped via the necessary legal action before the election not after the people gave him their mandate.

Politics, law and anything other human affair has an intrinsic tinge of sentiment and/or emotion despite the assumption to the contrary.

I am not not siding with any party but people should get a handle on their hypocrisy and chicanery.

I was watching Channel's Sunrise programme today featuring the chairman of the so-called E-11, one Mr Ajiniran (I hope I got the name correct).

The man practically got on air to embarrass himself on national TV. He started by purporting to be a disinterested party and was mouthing off how he and his amorphous group held Ekiti interest at heart. However, his humiliation reached an epic proportion when very simple questions were directed at him. The man was mumbling and blabbing away and must have been sweating in a fully air-conditioned studio. He made no attempt to answer the questions and reconcile the sundry inconsistencies his stories precipitated.

His badly blended cocktail of lies came crashing down when Maupe and co put him on the spot by linking up with the counterparty...

I was like, what a monumental faux pas!
