Siga:Really appreciate your top-notch inputs and wisdom in this it has been of immense help to myself and I think a whole lot of members of this forum. Pls I need I need your advice on something, I intend starting my studies at a pharmaceutical college in January in Toronto. It's a 1-yr program and I honestly intend on chasing PR on conclusion of my program. What do you think the chances are for a young pharmacist securing employment in Ontario, after studies. Thanks |

Aulor:.... Well.... I am not in that line but there are jobs in that field ... I believe once u finish that program u might be a Pharm Tech ? Cos to be the main Pharmacist, there will most likely be some certifications and regulations behind it cos they don't joke with Healthcare at all... Again, I am sure u will be fine but in all If God says u will be fine... then why worry... |

Siga: He is actually not taking my advise as final answer. He is just confused. He is actually looking at the family ahead of him...d worst is the condition given to him by canada before he qualifies to become citizen. he must stay in canada for 3yrs to get d passport. I wam of d opinion dat he gets married, travel to canada, stay d required no of yrs, get his Canadian passport, come back wt his family and continue his career in naija. He will definetly loose his job here but he stands to gain 2 tins, to study and improve himself and to born all his kids in canada. I think it's a good platform to break international barriers since he has work history in Nigeria. what do u think? |

Re: Travelling To Canada Part 6 by Siga: 5:29pm On Oct 05, 2014 |
Skymo:... Bros... Not to sound harsh... If he knows all these... Why can't he take a decision... I mean, its a choice... No need going back and forth... All I see is u trying to look for someone to further agree with u ... lol... No one says immediately he gets here things will be rosy... it takes time to adjust ... |

Skymo:wait o,has he gotten the PR or he's about to get the PR... and ds job,he doesn't want to loose,is it a notable oil company like chevron, shell etc....if not,I don't think he should even think twice abt ds that's if he has the PR already .. if he decides to come back to settle in nigeria,i am sure he ll get something better than the job he's afraid to loose right now 1 Like |

Skymo:... He will definitely loose his job... No company will keep a spot for 3yrs ... Also, not sure... but some people come to land and go back after a month but come back in before 6months and go back... But mind u... since he is still single and not married.... He will need to be on ground to file for his future wife oo.... |

Skymo:kai PRV on a platter of gold..i wonder the kind of job I will be doing in nigeria that will make me think twice,I will so dump the job like shit, its not really about the money you earn here, but think of a life of comfortability, inner peace, secured future for you and your family 2 Likes |

Skymo:Are you the person in question? Don Siga has given a well deserved response. I could put some jara though... What if your friend gets fired from this job at hand or the firm decides to lay off workers? There are a lot of 'if' questions. Some things comes once in a life time. It's either YES or NO. Siga: Dat is d main problem bro. He must be on ground to move d wife. Once in 6months tin only work for US, not canada. It will be really hard for him to maintain status yl workin in naija. He has tried all means to convince himself dat goin thr to sacrifice 3yrs for d future of d family is better dat stayin back given how economically good he in nigeria. He is jst in a state of dilemma. |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 6 by Siga: 6:15pm On Oct 05, 2014 |
Skymo:.... Trust me... He needs to man up and take whatever decision he wants and live with the consequences... Part of been an adult is taken decisions... Life is not all about money... Wetin dey behind 6 pass 7... Let him choose one and stop giving himself headaches.... To me N6m a year is not something u hold on to ... Jobs can end anytime... His PR and eventual citizenship is guaranteed ....coupled with the fact that his kids will carry head waka enter Canada unlike him wey wan carry leg waka... 12 Likes |
