@ all my ogas @ the top, I greet you. Thy humbled follower has harkened to thy instructions and read the previous threads. And has received the blessings of information. But I still have a few questions, pls be merciful and shower thee with thy words of wisdom. 1. Am currently a Noun student studying Eviromental Science, I stop some months back due to finance.. I want to start all over again in January. can I use my 100 level transcript to apply for Engineering course? 2. I was told dat Students can print der transcript online, and take it to the school's office so it can be stamped. Can I use it to apply? Since it didn't come from the school's office? 3. Where can I notarize all my documents before I apply? so dat I can be on the safe side..so dat the university won't think they are fake. |
Re: German Embassy And Visa by Quadri001: 5:10pm On Oct 06, 2014 |
@ giftwalter; 1. Engr. course in which school? 2. Transcripts is a school to school matter. Transcripts is NOT giving to individual but are transferred from one school to the other at the request of the student, so formally request from your school. 3. Take the original documents and the photocopy and take to the court anywhere, Lagos High court, Ikeja, Igbosere anywhere or consult a lawyer they will notarize the photocopies for you. |

I saw on this thread that as long as the course your applying for is in thesame department with the 1 your in currently you can use. Enviromental Science is in the Department/Faculty of science. Am asking if I can use it to apply. honourableseyi: |

Luvlydevin: It depends on where you are coming from when you land at Lagos. Whichever way. once you find your way to Obalende or CMS or any where on Lagos Island which I believe is a route which you must take before you get access to VI from the mainland, take a bus to VI, stop at Bonny camp, turn left. Walter Carrington is just a walking distance from there....well, depending on where the Italian Embassy is though. Good luck! PAO429:OK na we dey your back. I THINK your chances will be higher in Germany if its a skilled/professional level employment and not just any "German-German" work (no pun intended) giftwalter:Well, this issue is a bit complicated. It depends on the structure of the course in the university you are coming from and the type of engineering course you are going for. For instance, if in the engineering course you are going for is closely related to the environment e g environmental engineering, they should expect you to have a foundation at year 1 which will give you a good chance of progressing without hassles. Note that year 1 in a Nigerian University is like a foundation or A level to prepare you for the task ahead, while in Germany, you are expected to have that knowledge at Abitur or A level or studienkollieg. that is why university education there is shorter than university education in Nigeria and why a Nigerian university will accept O'level only, while a German university will not. For instance, the reason why all the departments in Eng. in Nigerian universities will do similar courses at year 1 is because they are being prepared for what they lack at A' level. That's why they do physics, chemistry, further maths, etc. Now in a few sentence, they may or they may not accept you in Engineering, it all depends on the engineering course you choose, the course structure in your uni here and also may be the competitiveness of the school. Send the school a mail and send them your course module before you apply, they will be in the best position to advise you on what to do. I see, thou hast possessed the ancient tongues. Hope thou findest this helpful. Fare thee well! |
