@princessayinke, I would suggest you write the IELTS in a centre that is not closed yet i.e. Abuja...You can also keep checking the British council to be sure that there are no late cancellations you can take advantage of as that happened in my case. |

Meritl: DHL is not much better. Took it to them since September 24th. Yet to be delivered. Last update I have is when it arrived in the Canada sorting Center. After that, they can't seem to locate my documents. Several calls and emails. Nothing. Pls join me in prayer... |

koolshine: Really? I will my brother o. Their service is quite disappointing. I wonder if they are overloaded with too many parcel these days. I've used to post to Europe and no such problems. I may also advice others to try TNT. They sent my transcript for verification to WES and it was there on the 5th day. I'm sure you'll get your package delivered at the end and also in good time. Mine entered Canada today after 8 days. Its currently in the city where my uncle lives. Hope they deliver it today 7th. Trust God, and all wiil be fine. |
Re: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by zeelo2014: 10:51pm On Oct 07, 2014 |
koolshine:Your package got delivered most likely on Oct 1st. They usually give it to a local courier over there. |

Hello everyone, for those worried about been unable to take the ielts exams in lagos this year, take note, except the exam date is closed, there is still a chance to register. I see November dates are full, what you have to do is check the BC website every morning. The bookings are refreshed to discard unpaid bookings after 5days, so sometimes a 1% or 2% availability may appear on some dates. |

Tekecoms1: I don't really know much about Canada. Do you plan going there to study(student visa) or under immigrant visa? I do know that as a student you can work on/off campus in Canada for 20 maximum hours per week and 40 hours during summer. |

Tekecoms1: Hi. Yes an HND holder can work in canada, but HND in what? You need to confirm if your occupation is among the 100 occupations listed on their site. You have to take IELTS and send your credentials (transcript & Certificate) for evaluation. You have to go through the instruction guide to get more details about the eligibility criteria and score 67 points or more before you can apply. Visit this link for more information; http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/skilled.asp I hope this helps. |
Re: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by yomifowe(m): 9:37am On Oct 08, 2014 |
conyema12: In my own opinion, i wont advice both of you to apply separately. I would advice you both to join forces together, both can write ielts fund an account, maybe a joint account, the person with the highest points should be the principal applicant, do your evaluation and send everything to cic before the end of this year. |

Good day house , please I am in a dilemma as to how to go about the certificate assessment. I have MBA in finance from LAUTECH and also HND in accounting from Yabatech, should I jus apply for verification of the MBA certificate or verification of both certificates, having in mind that WES does not assess HND certificate |
