Google accused her of committing an offense, before they close her blog they must have carried out an investigation which in time must have lead to the closure of her blog.
We all know how many of these bloggers live of the sweat of many gifted and not too gifted writers.
I hope this her website will not repeat the mistake of her blog. My advice: Go out their and get the news Linda instead of doing copy and paste or putting it in your own words. If you can buy a jeep worth millions, I wonder why you can't employ writers and journalist who'll go out there and get the news for you.
A word is enough for the wise but its never enough for a Nigerian.

I certainly do not hate Linda. In fact in a way am proud of her because she was able to turn things around to favor her. The only grouse is what you said in the last sentence. When the going start getting good. Use your resources and look for better way to improve. I was highly disappointed that she did not take that vital step to defend herself. I am shocked that she has no well meaning IT friends to tell her the truth about her site.
She should know that really CHANGE is the best. Really I wonder why she didn't take this opportunity to make it better and bigger.

I hope she learns from this. Am sure shoe would.

Look more objectively, in comparison world, it show NL has more influence Than Linda ikeji, because it been discussed here, and also it pulls mor traffic here, However, it shows linda ikeji admits NL is a rival, and decides to not talk about it. In my opinion, NL seems to remains superior.

[b] Only in Nigeria all sort of sh#t happens, there many Blogs that does more than what linda does outside our shores and no strings get attached to it, so when this girl started getting advert placement, social recognition and fame I wonder what stopped her from owning a standard website to broaden her scope and feel more comfortable with a secure domain, instead she felt more relax with free engine, and I see some people come on here to say she's hard-working...This is just a country those Fat big belle MD prefer to dole out contracts to lady marketers that knows how to shake her waist at there sight very well.

I wish her quick recovery. She had always been a major source of inspiration for we the new comers in the blogging business. May God use the heads of her enemies to construct a ladder for her as she climbs to stardom.

The lessons therein for fellow bloggers and site owners are:
1. While copying news, information and updates from other sites, endeavour to rewrite same in your own words before you publish, but if you must fail this rule, at least acknowledge the source. Very Important#

2. Know that your enemies keep increasing as your success keeps increasing. Nobody will want to fight you if you are a nobody or a lunatic. grin

3. Always have a time limit to move from blog to your own website, if she had moved to her own customized website after successfully blogging for 8 years, this wouldn't have occurred. Although Nigerian love free thing shaa - no web hosting fee, no domain registration fee, no web design fee. grin grin

4. Always have a plan "B" in whatever you are doing, don't put all your eggs in one basket.

5. Don't be too stingy. When you are making good money as a blogger- from adsense, other adverts, promotions and endorsements; endeavour to employ more capable hands to help you. She said few days ago that the guys after her and blog are I.T gurus who know the in and out of the internet. Then why did you no get I.T experts too, to fight them and protect your interest? No chop alone and die alone o

6. When your enemies are trying to run you down, don't just fold your arms and do nothing. These guys have been threatening Linda for a long while now, they had made Google to suspend Adsense in her blog for some months, but it was just few days ago that she raised alarm, but then it was almost too late.

Finally my prayer:
God as I just dey begin my blogging biz with the hope of becoming like Linda soon or even more, as enemies no know me now or even my blog; make beer no carry dem go there when I go don hammer like Linda. Bless my hustles everyday, Amen.

Truly, serious guys won't be on LI everyday.The first thing I was told to do by professionals who are successful was to stop wasting my time on gossip mags and cheap talk.

Instead, focus on real news like CNN, Bloomberg, Forbes and Documentaries to broaden my intellectual skills. undecided

Nigerians can abuse English language for state. Everywhere "hater". No more criticisms in this world. I wonder if that word is in the dictionary for thesame meanings we put to it. If those people were haters, is google also a "hater"? Many of us don't know how much she would have lost in law suit if things went to court. I'm not "hating" cos I visit her site too. But if she's guilty so be it. I. Like her and I think she's hardworking. Will you also call those that are richer than her and yet do not like her "haters"? Example is wizkid and olamide. If she actually did what she was accused of and which google confirmed then its plagiarism or stealing and we know what those that steal are called.

2. It's like you have no hint abt what plagiarism or copyright infringement is. For instance, rewording/rearranging copyrighted work/material does not absolve you of piracy. IT STILL BELONGS TO SOMEONE ELSE. Acknowledgement also is not enough. Some copyright owners require you write them, pay them their small thing before u use their work. If you can't afford it, avoid it.
If na so DJ for just play Davido song finish then end with announcement for mic say that song was by Davido. And Copyright Society of Nigeria [COSON] for no dey take torchlight find them enter even radio station.

Google what constitutes plagiarism and copyright infringement before you support nonsense
