What the hell happened to Sunday Mba, no matter how worst he is, I still think he will spun the same surprises he did against ivory Coast and burkina Faso at final, Keshi is so arrogant, some players that even did the national pride at nation cup was not recall.

Coach Del Bosque with the likes of Xavi, Xabi Alonso, Busquets, Silva, Iniesta, Diego Costa etc were humiliated at the World Cup. You want Coach Keshi to perform magic with a team that their best player is Mikel Obi who is on the bench at Chelsea.

My brother i need to give you an advice, stop using the failure of other people as an excuse. Not only in sport but all other areas. Why cant Algeria, Togo, Mali, South Africa, Mozambique say the same (They all won there match today)? Will they say because Almighty Spain got humiliated at the just concluded world cup then they would sit back and get humiliated also and use Spain example as there own yardstick for excuse?

Mikel is on the bench at Chelsea because of the competition there.

In today's game, Mikel was the best player for Nigeria. Why should he be blamed when players like Emenike was awful. Emenike had a worse performance than his game at South Africa which was terrible.

I won't blame the strikers because it's the fault of the coach, why did he refuse to call up Martins and Uche when he knows they're in form!!! The downfall of Nigeria is caused by the selection of our silly Coach.

Havilah93:
The super eagles will look to get all 3 points under difficult conditions in omdurman, Sudan.
It's the 2nd round of qualifiers for Morocco 2015

The Eagles will be without Stoke City forward Victor
Moses, who has suffered a recurrence of a thigh problem
at his English Premier League club, and Ukraine-based
winger Babatunde Michael, who is nursing a knee injury.

Questions rather than praise have greeted Keshi’s
invitation for several uncapped players including China-
based striker Aaron Samuel and Reading midfielder Hope
Akpan.

However, skipper Vincent Enyeama has rejoined the squad
after he stayed away to attend to what team officials said
were “pressing personal problems”.

Star-studded Nigeria will also have to cope with boiling
temperatures and a late switch for the game to be played
on an artificial pitch in Sudan.
“Personally, I prefer playing on a natural grass pitch, but
we just have to adjust, be smarter and work on our timing
when we play on astro turf and we will be okay,” said

Monaco defender Elderson Echiejile, who will be visiting
Sudan for the first time.
“And as for the weather, we are first and foremost
Nigerians and born in Africa and so we should also be able
to cope on the day.”

Middlesbrough defender Kenneth Omeruo said there will
be no margin for error against Sudan in both games
"We are aware of the task ahead and so we have resolved
to work hard to pick the available 12 points in our
remaining qualifiers,” said Omeruo

"The response of the players from the first day of training
speaks loud of our intention ahead of the games. All we
ask of Nigerians is their support.
“We also know there are no minnows anymore in African
football."

Both countries have clashed 11 times and Nigeria have
won six of these meetings, drawn four times and lost once
to the Sudanese.

The only Nigeria loss to Sudan was in was in 1963, when
they fell 4-0 in a 1964 Nations Cup qualifier, while the last
meeting was in a friendly in 2008 which Nigeria won 2-0.

Nigeria ran away 4-0 winners on their last visit to Sudan in
a 2002 World Cup qualifier 13 years ago with Yakubu
Aiyegbeni grabbing a brace

Super Eagles are no longer Super. Lacking organization, team spirit, creativity & patriotism.

Bro mikel is highly overated he is just a waste of space there is absolutely no need to play 2 holding midfielders in that team and onazi is better than he is in that department and you will agree with me that he is not the most creative player going foward neither is he an execellent passer of the ball so what exactly is his role in that team that is space meant for someone to do something different than just strutting up n down d field
How is Mikel overrated? He is the most abused player in the Super Eagles and he is the one that takes the fall even when he plays well. He is an excellent passer of the ball. Did you not see that amazing long ball he gave Emenike today that Emenike flopped.

Mikel does not play the holding role under Coach Keshi. Onazi does that. The point is that, just like the South African game, Mikel was the best player today. So tell me how he is overrated.

Since 29/01/14, Keshi won 2 matches (Zimbabwe & Bosnia-Herzegovina), drew 5 and lost 6 matches and this is all you have to say because of the yansh of keshi that you are licking? He can not call Uche. Uche does not want to play for him. Coach Keshi can not force him.

As for Martins, he might invite him but in crucial game like this, you can just invite Martins, today we played the long ball strategy and had two big men fighting for the ball. Martins or Uche will not perform with this strategy.

What the Coach should do is change his strategy and get players who are skillful on the ball to play the attacking role.

I swear, I still can't wrap my finger around the fact that Obafemi Martins, The Brothers Uche, Haruna Lukman, Sunday Mba and even Iheanacho weren't good enough for Keshi; yet some grasshoppers from the Chinese League were his choice.

Why is the number ten shirt the problem. Showing skills in 10 does not guarantee wins.

Mikel played well today. Why not focus on a player like Echiejile who left the Sudanese player to cross the ball without marking him.

What about Emenike who could not strike a ball the keeper spilled to his leg and the post was open.

Why crucify one of the few players that tried to make the team perform.

I am saying the Coach tried at the World Cup. Teams like Italy, England and Spain with better players and working condition (remember the players striking at the World cup) performed worse than Nigeria.
