I am a Keshi supporter but after this loss, I give up! Something is definitely wrong with that team and our opponents have found a weakness in that back line that they have now been exploiting. If Keshi cannot correct that in 3 straight matches, then its time for him to honourably call it quits. He should not wait to be shown the way out, the game is now up. Keshi is a good coach but great Coaches have been known to get to a certain point when they can no longer motivate their team. Del Bosque of Spain is also currently swimming in the same boat with Keshi now after their disastrous world cup and poor runs in the European qualifiers. Having said that, these players are not playing together or playing for each other. I mean where is the understanding that stood out Omeruo and Oboabuna at the last nations cup? 3 Likes |

thegoodjoehunt3: That's Nigeria mentality , football as gone beyond the issue of being under 20 or not.... Pogba , paddy mcnair , backett , januzaj , sterling , Ode garrd and so on are young players and their respective coach ain't complaining about their age, so when it comes to football forget about age bro 2 Likes |

Xfactoria:My problem today was the long balls. It was clear if we continue those long balls till tomorrow, the chances won't come. If you noticed when Mikel slipped to the wing, he put in a dangerous cross that would have resulted in a goal. What we needed was crosses. It is difficult for defenders to defend crosses than long balls in the midfield. With a striker like Osaguona who has amazing aerial capability, we should bring in more wing play. Also a more balance passing midfield. Some of our players can not give simple passes. A midfield of Raheem Lawal, Mikel and Nosa can make a more comfortable midfield trident with natural wingers like Uzoenyi to cross the ball. Look at the Sudanese goal today. 2 Likes |

hayzed2:You are mixing it up. Pogba can not be called up for Italy to play as a winger. It will disrupt his development. Pogba is becoming one of the best box to box mid fielders in the World. He has to continue the role to develops to the best. Same with Sterling. He is being developed as a fierce winger. The English coach can not call him to play as a creative midfielder. Nacho is being developed by Coach Pellegrini into a fierce striker like Aguero. Coach Keshi should call him to compete with the likes of Emenike and Salami for the striking position. Ironically, chances were created and the strikers did not score. |

watchindelta:I agree with you 100%. I was so happy we were moving into a possessive side that likes to hold the ball and play on the ground. I wonder how this long balls started. As for that side, Coach Keshi should be blamed. My head wanted to burst when we played that way for 90 minutes. 1 Like |

thegoodjoehunt3: I have said it before and I will say it again; our problem goes beyond the coaches. Nigerian football has been on aa downward slide for more than a decade, the only bright spot being the Afcon win in 2013. The same way Nigerians are shouting "sack Keshi" is how they shouted "sack Amodu, sack Eguaveon, sack Berti Vogts, sack Christian Chukwu, sack Siasia" Yet not much has changed. It is time we turned the spotlight on the real culprits, the players. These are supposed to be professional fooballers. It's no surprise we have no players performing at the top level in Europe. When was the last time a Nigerian player was the Best in Africa? Our players revel in mediocrity and Nigerians tend to celebrate their mediocrity. We make them feel like demi-gods simply because Brila FM and Complete Sports make noise about them. You can hardly ever point to any progression in their career. Even when they start of in a good league, they usually end up in the back leagues of Europe. They lack drive, they lack ambition; they only care about money and we cheer them on with comments like "stop beefing, they are making their money". Well, yeah they are making their money and bringing you all heart-ache. Until Nigerian player value being amongst the best in the world more than earning Euros, Pounds and Dollars, we will continue to moan and groan. My two and a half cent. 9 Likes 1 Share |

thegoodjoehunt3: Mr. man stop analyzing football if you cannot be objective. Keshi is a technically inept coach who lacks man management skill required in today's world of football. The only thing he knows how to do best is to pick petty quarrels with his players, hence will not invite them. Tell me why he has refused to invite players like Obafemi martins and Ike Uche who are presently doing well for their clubs and who are definitely better than rubbish Emenike! WTF are you really talking about? Do you in anyway watched the nonsense today? Like i have said before, Keshi is a poor coach who has an ego that cannot be rivaled. He thinks he is the best thing to happen to Nigerian football after he miraculously won the AFCON. The worst part is that he is an agent. He has a select group of players he keeps inviting no matter their form. He has turned the national team into a father Christmas were he dishes out invitation based on pecuniary criteria. So bro, your Keshi has failed woefully and he should do the needful and steer clear from the remaining matches 5 Likes |
