I just decided to Google petroleum Engineers on Nairaland today and I found this thread.I'm a Petroleum Engineer ,I have an Msc also in Petroleum Engineering from Heriot Watt University with a 3.6/4.0 GPA.The irony about this is that I have been trying to get a job for Years now,but to no avail,so I'm learning to sew..... Maybe my hand work would produce something tangible.

good day my people, am really grateful that I found this topic. I really need something like these.
am a graduate of industrial physics, will be serving by march. I graduated with 2.1. I did a course that deals with geo-physics, seismic etc but I never paid attention in short I usually skip the lectures cos am the type that can pass exams with only textbooks. Recently, I ve been weighing my options and I found out where I missed it. I want to read my masters in geo-physics but my brain can only remember the course code and nothing else. what am I going to do?

To study geology real good, try Adekunle Ajasin University Akungba-Akoko (state university option)

Dis iz a very nice thread! Ephraim is my name, a fresh PE graduate from FUTO....still on d job hunt.

Please, what is an interviewer looking for in a fresh graduate when he/she (d interviewer) asks d applicant "have you been applying to other jobs?"

And what's an ideal response to such question as an interviewee (graduate)? because as a young graduate, they xpect you shouldn't put all eggs in one basket....ie, you must have bn applying to so many other place. So telling them their company is d only place you re applying to may seem like a lie...lol.
