Explicit01: Start making sense and I will not treat you like an idiot. I mean listen to your self lagos alone needs 10000 so you are to forsake any offer that's not up to 10000. I mean listen to yourself. 2 Likes |

The worst is that even ghana has fully supplied electricity to all it's states or regions as they call it,why export something, you truly don't have in excess |
Re: Ghana's Laughable Offer by JiggamanGh: 6:17am On Oct 15, 2014 |
Explicit01: Why not, that would be a 1000 more that you didn't have. A thousand can go a long way. Just say you have a problem accepting help from Ghana. That's one thing I hate about you Nigerians, yall believe all west african countries are beneath you that you can't accept any help. You would rather live in pure darkness or die than get help from other africans especially Ghana. 2 Likes |

JiggamanGh:hunger in Nigeria are you crazy, boy only a lazy man can complain of hunger in Nigeria we live in the fertile belt where everything grows so anybody still saying he is hungry should better die of his own incapacity and dude that your figure isn't real, how can anybody spend a dollar per day take for example " i went to the restaurant in my place of work yesterday and decided on eating beans and potatoe so i bought the beans for 0.5 dollars and the potatoe for 0.5 dollars when i was leaving with my order to my table i was under strict warning from the chef to make sure i finish. the food the food was enough to feed a hungry family of electricity exporters (ghana) and it was jst slightly above a dollar, here in naija we eat like true Africans should eat and i promise you that if the world bank statistic was a sincere one, then Nigeria should have been represented as a country that feeds well. |
Re: Ghana's Laughable Offer by Explicit01: 6:18am On Oct 15, 2014 |
JiggamanGh:nigeria is about 8times more populated than ghana, yet nigeria (200,000MW) requires 70times the electricity ghana (3000MW) requires. That shows how un-industrialized ghana is. |
Re: Ghana's Laughable Offer by JiggamanGh: 6:20am On Oct 15, 2014 |
LORDI: Read the article again, Ghana plans to export electricity. We will achieve this feat in the near future and we plan on exporting the rest. This will probably take place 2-4 from now. 1 Like |

Explicit01: Makes no sense. Your country produces 6000 and my produces 3000. You outnumber us 9-1 so who is not industrialize. Come on dude this is not rocket science. 2 Likes |

The worst is that even ghana has fully supplied electricity to all it's states or regions as they call it,why export something, you truly don't have in excess .What ghanians don't know is that industries in nigeria have different power supply from consumers,..e.g, in lagos, most industry are located at industrial estates,zones...these areas have almost 24/7 electricity.... |

overhypedsteve: Yet 70% are poor. Nigeria is among the poorest on earth. I hope you read the article. Your people are dying of hunger. Best solve that before you worry about. The average Ghanaian has better life, healthcare, security, education and easier access to food and water. Check the HDI of both countries. 1 Like |

There is nothing BAD in ghana exporting excess electricity,if they have in excess they should,I don't see it as rubbing shoulders or competiting with nigeria...but the truth is,NIGERIA has it own agenda by 2015..we are building another flow station to stablize power by 2016. 1 Like |

In as much as i kinda respect ghana(a little) i dnt think it is wise to compare Ghana with Nigeria. If there is any African country that can do that you shld mention South Africa and Egypt. How will 2000MW sustain a country in this modern time, is it that there is no industry in Ghana or what? You guys keep draging shoulders with Nigeria like say we be mate, oya start counting the numbers of Nigeria industries in ghana, or is how our music and movies sector have taken over the whole of Ghana, abi is it how Nigerians own lots of houses in Ghana. The earlier you realize that Nigeria is not your mate the better, It's funny how sme of you guys even knw the whole 36 states of nigeria and even speak some of our language yet you claim you don't envy us. The only thing/person i knw is frm ghana is Alomo bitters and ..........(somebody shld pls remind me of the name of the girl nyanya dumped) My Ghanian brothers your economy and currency is at the verge of collapsing please find a solution to that first...okay! 1 Like |

pjosh1:you are talking like a foooool. how can Ghana offering to sell electricity to nigerian amount to "comparing" or "dragging shoulders" with nigeria. The truth is that the little respect I have for you people keep dwindling fast every second when I read posts like this and there are a lots of such on this forum. I still don't understand why nigerians are outraged at Ghana's offer to sell electricity to them. Its like you people still live in primitive times. The rest of the world don't reason that way. Every sensible country is looking for means to improve the quality of life for its people, but in nigeria it appears pettiness and nonsense is what thrives in the minds of most of you foools. how can anyone be embittered about Ghana's offer to supply electricity to a country whose 120 million citizens don't have access to electricity. I still don't get it! Is it pride or is it sheer stvpidity? Meanwhile I guess all of you would have clapped if the US or Britain or indeed any European country had offered to supply elctricity to you apes? such inferiority complex. SMH Under the West African Power Pool (WAPP), any country in west africa can produce electricity and and sell to another country in the region. Some major power producers seeing that opportunity to produce electricity in Ghana and sell internationally are making huge investments in the Ghana power sector. This are strictly private initiatives and have nothing to do tiwh the Ghanaian government. so what is the big deal about Ghana supplying electricity to nigeria? Already, Ghana supplies electricity to Burkina Faso, Togo and Benin. There are many countries in the sub region who will be very happy to buy Ghana's excess electricity. you shitnigerian apes should continue to languish in darkness and inhale your generator fumes more grease to your nostrils and by the way, the Ghanaian economy is doing well, growing at nearly 7% per annum. The Ghanaian economy is the 3rd highest recipeint of foreign direct investment in africa. and nigerian companies are still rushing to set up here. even more and more of your people are arriving in Ghana every day in search of a better life. at least here people don't eat from the dustbin you can sleep with your two eyes closed at night because there is no boko haram, life expectancy is 64, not 52 years youth unemployment is not 90%. 3 Likes |

Ghana's indeed have a better life, compared with you apes. and what are you doing in Ghana and not sticking your smelly butt in your crazy sh1thole, modafaka? such nonsense! oooh I forgot to share with you what a street looks like in your magg0t-infested sh1thole 2 Likes |

Is not about the size of Gdp, and your economy is not even diverse oil accounts for more than 50% of your economy. How's your education system, healthcare, HDI, food and water supply.
