OK...Buhari is back. Welcome to the race.

But, my questions for Buhari are this

1.What are your plans for fighting corruption.?

2.What are your plans for ending our dependence on oil....other than ''I will give you light''?

3.How do you plan to address the tribal issues that plague Nigeria.


Infact, the only plan Buhari should have is that Nigeria should get off oil. Not just Buhari....every other person running for Nigerian presidency. Because our dependence on oil is the reason why we fight tribal wars, have no light, rig elections, practice religious bigotry, and have mass unemployment.

Buhari....welcome o....but if you and your fellow contenders from other parties have no clear cut plan to get us off oil....

The honest truth is that this election should not be about power shift to North or South, or from Christian to Muslim and vice versa or even Boko Haram or corruption (although the last two are very important).

It must be, and should be all about how Nigeria can stop being a Dutch diseased economy.

In an industrial economy, the constituent parts support projects that would bring industrial development and innovation to their territories which means more revenues for the govt....and at the same time everything ...power, water and roads....work because if they do not work...things will go down the drain....incluiding govt revenues.

In an oil dependent economy...why invest in the things that keep you innovative like education, industries and so on...when you can use the oil to buy the products. Problem is a lack of innovation leads to lack of jobs and mass unemployment.And in this state...Govt exists to become the sharer of money. That is why we have all the problems we have in Nigeria...because everyone is fighting for an improved share of oil money. Whereas...if we had been an industrial society...everyone would be too busy working at innovative means to make money to even bother with religious or tribal violence...or even stealing.


Let us be honest here....Nigeria needs to grow up.To grow up from a share the money economy to a producer economy. That should, must be AGENDA 2015!

Buhari must acknowledge he made a fundamental mistake not campaigning in d East and SS last time around;maybe followin poor advice from his strategists then.He has also not done himself any favors(as far as d east is concerned)wt his alliance wt Tinubu who many perceive is evn more crooked dan GEJ.But political alliances av to be formed,sometimes evn wt d crooked of them all.
But Buhari remains a gud man and of all d candidates vying for d presidency is d best bet for redeeming dis country.What he has to do is to find a way,and dis will involve some dfficult political choices to make;to woo some eastern votes,keeping d west,while not being too tied to d evil imaginations of Tinubu and his co-travellers;den strenghtening his main northern support base.
For these,Buhari has to shed d false toga hooked around him of being too pro- islamists,for whc he needs a strong christian vice.An Oshiomole or Amaechi(not Okorocha) wt some serious other horse trading and open concessions to d east and west wud b a big stepping stone.And for Pete's sake he shudnt make d mistake of not campaigning in d east and ss this time around,bc evn if he doesn't win those regions,he wud have projected a national outlook and wud win some hearts wt his campaigns there.
