morfman: The only document you may not add if you're applying online is the police clearance certificate. .. as for employment, if u stated in your application forms that you are currently employed, then you need to show proof. If you have stopped work already, pls show proof too. Not everyone gets a study leave approved so you may not sweat yourself over that. Although, it can furthermore prove your ties with your home country. Always try to put yourself in the shoes of a Visa Officer when assessing your docs to be submitted. For every information provided in the form (or the most of it), he appreciates a valid document to back it up. All the best. 2 Likes |

jaylinaa: hey, any luck with the further compression methods suggested? What semester are you aiming for? Don't let the online application challenges get to you if it's this Winter you want to meet... paper route is quite a scary risk for that right now... all the best |

Hi. Please I need advice. I want to study real property assessment and appraisal at seneca college but was advised against it. Reason being that the course does not attract easy employment in canada. Please is this true? I would like to know the course to study as MSc or PGD that would easily get me a job in canada after graduating. ADA4ALL |

Hello ppl. It's me again ooh, I have gist plus I need advice as usual..lol... Sorry, my story is too long sha, buh dunno how else o summarize it. If you guys remember I said earlier that I was refused twice this year, and I just applied the 3rd time last week. So, here is the gist. About 2 weeks after my 2nd delay, my elder sister who is a canadian citizen just realized that she had the authority to request for my previous study permit application files from Canada in other to know the exact reason why I was delayed. It took about 30 working days for the result to come out, and I kinda ran out of patience to wait for the result cos time wasn't on my side considering the fact that I'm applying for winter session. Anyways, the result just came out over the weekend, it's about 21 pages, but the 20th page carries the summary (see attachment) The reason for the delay was that in my previous applications, I included a letter from my sister saying that I will be staying with her through out my 2years of study. Now from the report, it was stated that the distance from my sisters place to the school is 2hrs. I.e as a student I will be doing 4hrs journey every day, which of cos doesn't look genuine. Now, my latest application last week, I did not include a letter from my sister again. My sponsor also stated in his affidevit that he will provide funds for my accommodation. My question is this, since I did not include a letter from her this time, do you think I won't have this same issue? Or do I need to maybe book an accommodation in my school and send the embassy a receipt or smth?? I need advice please.

Cufs: Actually, my Campus is in Calgary(about 15min from my sister's place) , but I just noticed after this result that my offer letter also stated that not all my majors and minors are available in my campus, therefore I will also attend lectures in the main Campus at times(2.5hrs) |

Re: Travelling To Canada Part 6 by Siga: 11:20am On Oct 20, 2014 |
...Cufs... Since you see the reasons were clearly based on accommodation.... I would think u would have made an arrangement to either book at least a 2 weeks hotel stay near your school or secure accommodation to close that gap...But lets wait to see what they say about your Sponsor staying he/she will be footing the accommodation bill.... 2 Likes |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 6 by Cufs(f): 11:27am On Oct 20, 2014 |
Siga: I already reapplied before I got this result Sir. So I'm thinking you mean that I should go ahead a book an accommodation and send the evidence to the embassy ? What is even confusing me is that my campus to her house is just 15min. The 2hr journey is that of the main campus were I will be attending lectures once in a while. |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 6 by Siga: 11:33am On Oct 20, 2014 |
Cufs:... Trust me... those guys are one way traffic... once they have stated u are 2hrs away... they wont change ... and they will only go by that statement... best thing to do since u have the reason is to close the gap... few people book hotel and state they will stay at the hotel while they look for a house since most landlords wants to see them before approving a room ... |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 6 by Joe980: 11:34am On Oct 20, 2014 |
Cufs:It's really dicey... Just be hopeful cuz your docs are already in and your info are with them. This issue of different campus get as he be. You can't pay for two accommodation while trying to cover lapses. Or you dey capable? Your sponsors response to accommodation would help God willing. |
