The argument has already been settled that whites developed most of the developed parts of Africa(Nigeria included). The difference is that South Africa has been maintaining, integrating and expanding what has already been developed while in places like Nigeria you see decay of British development and the little development that happens is spearheaded by foreigners(South African included).

So while you speak of pre-1994 grand decision makers, the reality is that in Nigeria the grand decision makers remain foreign people.

Those banks(except absolutely)are owned by pension funds. It's so easy to go to the JSE website to see share holdings of listed companies. Those Naija banks you listed are miniature by SA, they would be placed on the same level as what we call micro-lenders.
