Tvegas: ErmTvegas, you should be very certain before you say somethings. The only place I disagree with you is the fact that none of the doctors are on that sit you posted. The doctor that was attached to my letter is even the first doctor on that list! Yes they are agents no doubt, what we have to do is let them start signing the letter, attach a doctors name and possibly get another letter from the doctor and I am seriously working on that. I don't even think they really call immigration if you don't show up. I think that's what they just use to scare people. 1 Like |

malory84: Ok maybe thats a new development but the old letters dont have any of those Doctors, the letters were also not signed. If they've changed the format, good for them. Hopefulme can also state the name on the letter rejected by the Visa Officer. About Reporting people to custom one of their old clients attested to that on this site, so what do you want us to believe?. They also placed the following disclaimer on the first page of the doctoresparati website: Legal Disclaimer: This page is intended for informational purposes and does not constitute a doctor-patient relationship. I never wrote anything so strange ,Did i?. Cheers 2 Likes |

hopefulme: The only way to achieve this is if people start asking them, when there's majority, they would b forced to, they need our money! I know how many mails I sent to them b4 they agreed to sign and attach a doctors name. They are still stalling with the doctors letter, but I will keep bombarding them with mails. |

@Adebunny: Just relax. A change of hospital won't affect you at the POE. Have a genuine reason and your cash. My wife used Dr. Fagbohun during her interview and we didn't know about Doctoresparati until after the interview, and i asked this forum what to do, and they asked me to send a mail to Dr. Fagbohun explaining a change of mind so that i have an evidence in case it comes up at the POE. This was my greatest fear when my wife landed at Dallas. But when she said she has been cleared on her way to board for Elpaso .....i was dancing and singing praises to God. They only asked for her doctors appointment, confirmed and cleared her. So relax. |
Re: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedure? by lizcom25: 11:05pm On Oct 24, 2014 |
@Tvegas: i agree on your extensive write up. We must find a differentiation between EASTSIDE CLINIC which is the starting point for preggys. Then DEL SO MEDICAL which is the final point when you are set to deliver. So you have DOCTORS PARATI on top and then the others down. let's just become careful until they are informed and restructure their letter of responsibility. |

Imo007: Thank God for your life,Thats some scary stuff, we are just recovering from bomly's narrative. Is there a way All Intending Patients can write the medical director of MIHS that some of our mamas are not getting the best treatment from them? I pray for Gods protection over all my friends using them o. It will all end in praise. |

cfcchick: yeah.In Mihs. Summary: All was fine. I enjoyed the care rendered until after delivery. When the effect of the epidural had worn out, the pain from the tear arose. then i was told i had a 4th degree tear with a 3.58kg baby. the delivery was just badly managed. i was already dealing with the pain when 2 weeks later, i started bleeding. i bled till i passed out, and the ambulance was called. rushed to the emergency, scan showed remnant of placenta tissue. and i had a d and c. and life continued. 2 Likes |

Imo007:that's still a lot!!! The hospital is suppose to pay part of the bill in my view but this one that we are not allowed to take medicaid or any form of government assistance. |

Imo007: So sorry about that, just wondering why you had to pay for their error. This is really scary, I tell you. How do we prevent a reoccurrence? What are the names of the doctors n mid wives that attended to you and Bomly? I second we should write a letter to the medical director, if they are overbooked they should stop taking patients rather than playing with people's life. |
Re: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedure? by Nobody: 12:48am On Oct 25, 2014 |
@hopefulme I'm equally sorry to hear about ur visa interview experience, I hope you reapply And are granted soonest. I did post my experience when we had ours and I remember stressing that my own personal takeout from the interview was that these people are just so so so plain old tired of the Doctores Parvati letter. End of. Are the Doctores breaking any rules, no. Are there some shady dealings going on with them, no. Are they flouting any immigration laws, no. So what and why are the vos having issues with their letter? They are just tired of seeing so many people use this letter. It goes without saying that henceforth, intending applicants for our shared purpose of childbirth should present this letter from the Doctores at their own risk. Is it sad that a smart business initiative that delivers on its promise is being put in this situation, absolutely yes. From my own personal pov, I see a lot of sense in the business strategy the guys at Doctores have adopted. They saw a market, saw a need and decided to proffer a solution that works both ways leaving the patients happy and them smiling to the bank. Cos for me, the deciding factor for choosing their service was the fact that they saved me the stress of locating a hospital and then a doctor, plus the price was reasonable. I'm at Elpaso right now, prayerfully awaiting my baby's arrival and so far, at the risk of being warned by the mods and Oga justwise, I'm enjoying the service I've gotten. Hopefully it stays that way and everything turns out for the best in Jesus' name. Moving forward, it is clear that they have a lot to do regarding how they approach this their letter of responsibility ish. Until then, please aspiring applicants should go use other letters or doctors and hospitals to avoid these kind of painful scenarios. I agree in totality that they are middlemen, agents, medical brokers of some sort, no arguments from me there. It is well with our plans. 4 Likes 1 Share |

Imo007 wat a sad sad tale. Firstly a 4th degree tear! R u kidding me? Aw do u deliver a 3.5kg baby n sustain a 4TH DEGREE tear! Even a midwifery student knows about guarding d perineum or an episiotomy! I seriously av had reason to question d competence of these oyibo healthworkers in the course of my encounter with them, but then again I want to see finish! Then for u to have retained placenta n u r now paying for it! From my experience, those who know what they are doing meticulously trace d placenta to make sure that all the membranes are complete talkless of leaving a part of the placenta behind! Whoever took ur deliver is incompetent! Pls we need d names of these people! I av also asked Bomly for her nurse too. Pls mommas endeavour to know their names n who to hold responsible! The truth is that racism is real! Forget d fake smiles they always have plastered on their faces! They don't like us! I am so upset with this story becos it merits medical litigation! Did u ever threaten to sue the hospital? This is plain wrong! So wrong! 7 Likes |

Please I need some clarifications. I have interview on Thursday and I also have a letter of Responsibility from Doctores Parati which stated the name of the Medical doctor that will be taking care. My letter was signed. I also made a prepayment of the hospital bill. What are my chances. It's a bit confusing, does it mean that they do send letters without being signed or without the doctor's name being stated in the letter. |

Trust me if you were an OYIBO or citizen, they will be so scared of a lawsuite that you will be treated like a queen. In as much as we want a cheap hospital, we have to make this people realise that we aint stupid! you fly through the Atlantic ocean just to receive better medical care and end up with something like this? And then no apologies rendered. Biko key people, Nigerians are not known to be strong and vibrant people, why should we let ourselves be intimidated for your own money again. 2 Likes |
