Good day, I thank all the people that are making this forum a successful one, my special thanks goes to Mr. Siga, You are truly a brother to all in this house... I have something bothering me, I passed out from service on 5th of June, but have not been able to secure a job, I intend applying for TRV and am the one sponsoring myself, meaning bulk of the money is in my account about 4million, I only have unregistered salon, is not registered with CAC, but intend telling my friend that's a lawyer to help me prepare a deed of agreement of a land probably in the region of 1.5million... I just want to know how to state about sponsoring myself and also know how the VO can verify the landed property which will serve as my home tie... |

newbie2014: Thank you ooo |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 6 by tnuola(f): 1:30pm On Oct 30, 2014 |
georgey2k: When you say prepare a deed of agreement is the land actually yours and you just want to do the deed of agreement? And when it comes to sponsoring yourself, you have to be able to prove how you came about the funds, eg business, inheritance, salary etc |

Re: Travelling To Canada Part 6 by Joe980: 1:39pm On Oct 30, 2014 |
georgey2k:It's not a must having a job at hand...look for a co sponsor and attach all other documents you have showing how real your business is. Don't do any illegal document please. What will be will be. Be truthful with your application and our prayers and yours with the Most High will work wonders. |

georgey2k: Sorry for adding my opinion though d question is directed to SIGA.if u want to sponsor urself then be prepared to have all legitimate Documents to save yourself of disappointment. If I am d Vo to attend to u app with d situation on ground now. I will first ask where is d 4million from? How long have you been doing the business and would like to see how money flows into ur account.. This people use psychological concept to evaluate your application so u have to be smart and clean in arranging whatever document u want yo submit....and explain in details what ever u attach to ur application. 1 Like |

...@ Oga georgey2k ... I didnt even read your post to know you mentioned me... sorry... There is no rule against self sponsor bros... U can sponsor yourself... the main issue is proving home ties... one can assume you are packing all ur gbogbo gbogbo up and heading to Canada (hate the word Canny) ... U need a very convincing letter... Stating your intentions... A case like this... since u are already a business man... what program are u heading for... are u planning on coming back to use ur skills to expand ur business... or starting a new business.... find a balance between those and U can have a co sponsor just to buff up ur financial stands...thats all.... Think outside the box bro... guys don give u enough advise... |

Hello house, pls help! I joined this forum shortly after I submitted my application( tho it was done by an agent). I just realised that she didn't include SOP among my documents meanwhile, i came to understand wat SOP means in dis forum. Here are the documents I submitted I just want to knw my chances of getting a TRV. LOA,admission letter, affidavit of sponsorship from my sponsor(maternal uncle), My SOA(4.4mil), sponsor's SOA over 13 mil closing balance( fixed deposit account), letter of sponsorship, photocopy of sponsor's passport and bio data page his visas and stamp , my int passport bio data page (never travelled outside the country). She didn't include an introduction letter from my company, no study leave letter and no police certificate. According to her she said if they need more document they wld let us knw bt am still worried. Someone pls give me an ans. Thanks. |

@lilspiceyy my advice is that you pray and wait till you get a response from CIC, because nothing anyone will say will change anything, no one here can determine your chances, what's done is done. Just pray, believe and hope for the best. 3 Likes |

redribs: Hmm, kindly note that on the platform used to process your study visa, there is a window for you to change DLI. My sincere thoughts are that if you can change your institution on the CIC application before getting to Canada, it should take care of that problem of going to the initial institution used to process the TRV. |

lilspiceyy: I became worried when I reached the bolded part above. Please start processing the character clearance police ish now. They WOULD ask for it. I have heard of some cases where they told people to submit some missing documents that they deemed important without rejecting the application out rightly. That your agent looks like a learner though with all due respect. Just keep praying and be hopeful. It is well! |
