and you my man, are a chauvinist. Why is it ok for men to use certain terms, but when females do same, it's 'unlady-like'? This is an era of gender equality and freedom of expression. Thanks for the advice though grin
The same thing can be said of women. There are just things meant for both sexes culturally. I still don't agree on gender discrimination that is very rampant in African countries.

She no go say wish to be naijarian.

@labellamafia. Der iz GOD O!!!

Wishing I was Nigerian? You must be sniffing dirty gym socks!

In my spare time I study Urdu, Punjab, Hindi, Twi & every other language I find interesting. My line of work makes one hungry for knowledge because the material is readily available so of course I take advantage of that.

And ja, I plan to be here the whole day. It's Sunday after all. And ja, I plan to be here every day until I tire of this place & move on to better things.

What line of work might that be, and what area of knowledge has aroused your interest lately apart from languages?

bros you beat me to it. And it's that pile of vomit that Labella said is an intellectual, I may not be one of the 'intelligent' people who can spot 'intelligent' people, but I seriously doubt intellectuals sit around gossiping. Therefore I dare say that the brainless fart with the appetite of a starving warthog is as dumb as they come and cannot in any way, form or shape be more intelligent than Tayo

Who do you want him to discuss mind matters with when he is obviously surrounded by doo doo brains?

Let the guy gossip if that makes him retain some sanity in that house of dingbats.

Library.

Languages are my thing since I work with written work on a daily basis. I love reading about different cultures as well. Read, read, read, is all I do. Both as a trade & as a hobby.

What is important is not the number of books you've read about culture but what you have learnt from it. Jeez!

And who said I haven't learned anything? I am a walking encyclopedia. I know a bit of something about almost anything. Miss-know-it-all if you will. On top of that, I am open to learn more.

So have your readings taken you to the etymology of Nigerian pidgin English. I do know a thing or two about Afrikaans-its history that is. History was my major by the way.
