EVarn: There you go again. Nigeria is not an NIC. To qualify as an NIC is not easy. -You will have to have infrastructure which Naija does not have currently. - Well developed industry, which Nigeria only start to develop now -Well established health facility -Constant power supply -Overall excellent social security, etc. Nigeria is still struggling to reach all those. here under is a list of NIC. - http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Newly_industrialized_country Nigeria and SA are not on the same level of development. 1 Like |

mzilakazi:now now love...do not reduce your ranking in my eyes from most intelligent to barely coherent.i would agree that SA has the infrastructural advantage here{mostly due to the boers hardwork},but Nigeria also boasts a huge industrial capacity, which while still relatively untapped,it still challenges SA in its present form.SA isnt a fully developed country, yes or no? Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by mzilakazi(m): 12:17pm On Nov 05, 2014 |
The problem with Nigerians is that since their country now surpassed SA as an economic power of Africa, they now think Nigeria compares with SA with everything. They fail to understand that SA has always been the king of the continent for many centuries and throughout those years has amassed big infrastructure which cannot be compared to any country in Africa. Such achievement cannot just be outdone by Nigeria overnight. It will take them many years of commitment and that is if SA is standing idle doing nothing. |

EVarn: Professionally speaking, SA is an NIC, a term coined early in 1970s to refer to the Asian tigers, Hong Kong, Singapore, South Korea and Taiwan. However, do you know that SA is listed as developed by the CIA world fact book? |

Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by ActivateKruger: 12:28pm On Nov 05, 2014 |
EVarn: A town in another country maybe called a villa in another country. So technically a villa and town maybe the same, it all depends on which side of the fence you reside on. |

DieVluit:What?your country is the highest recipent of foreign aid in the whole of africa, you brg for everything in your life. Your citizen depends on goverment for survival, millions of black citizens will die of starvation if your government stop some of it program, your national debt is increasing rather than decreasing. Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by mzilakazi(m): 12:44pm On Nov 05, 2014 |
EVarn: That's untrue. CIA has agents everywhere to collect important geographic information. Most researchers and academics today make use of the information compiled in the world fact book, including institutions such as world bank and IMF. They all make use of information found in the fact book. |

mzilakazi:i beg to disagree love, the IMF,world bank,AfDB and other socio-economic institution have there own records, from there own personal observation and investigation, why will the IMF and world bank rank nigeria 26th economy in the world{by GDP},and the CIA world 'fact' book rank nigeria as 35th{by GDP},putting gabon well above nigeria and south africa{gabon of all countries}.even bloomberg stated that the economy was 26th,not 35th.and this just one of many wrong 'facts' |

EVarn: Chief, your utterances are nothing but a lie. CIA has professionals carrying doctoral degrees who will never do such a mistake of ranking Gabon's economy above that of Nigeria. It is a simple mathematics of ranking numbers from big to small. However, there is also GDP per capita which Nigeria will obviously rank below Gabon. Make sure you didn't look at the GDP per capita. |
