bjayzeez:They don't recognize points on work yrs during studying, no IELTS band should be less than 7 to attract points. So I was stuck on 40 points. I'm not panicking...it's new to folks here... maybe the reason. |

Fellow Hopefuls, As regards the inability to raise Canadian dollars DD via GT bank which was stopped few weeks ago due to technical issues,i placed a call to Gtbank head office this morning and i can confirm they have resumed raising the draft. They confirmed they had technical issues previously but that has been resolved and they apologized for the inconveniences it might have caused. So guys you can raise your DD now with GTbank. 1 Like |

Danchiks: Yours took 10 days, did you receive through NIPOST? Mine is over 23 days now. I want to wait till the end of the week. If I dont see anything, I will request a duplicate from WES. But does CIC accept duplicate? |

johnsontade:Okay..good one. I love ur fighting spirit. Well, I can't be authoritative as I'm not a staffer of CIC. Either they place preference on overall points or specific item is my guess. So it can only delay one's look-in. |

blueQueen:1.B.Sc..........21points 2.Age...........12 3.Work yrs...11 4.IELTS. .......?? It seems u must get the maximum 24 or 23 points to get in. Go to WWW.CIC.GC.ca and look for the fwsp link. Or go backward to see where it has been repeatedly posted. |
Re: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by Nobody: 11:15am On Nov 06, 2014 |

Re: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by ANBAKO: 11:24am On Nov 06, 2014 |
blueQueen: Base on the info provided above you have 21 points for education, 11 points for experience, 12 points for age. To scale through you need to get 23pointso from ielts. Check the cap using this link http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/complete-applications.asp |
Re: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by ANBAKO: 11:28am On Nov 06, 2014 |
gentleiphy: We are almost in the same shoe. My application was received August 19th. Presently CIC is charging July 18th. I am putting my estimate at late Nov/early December. |

Good afternoon people! I see AVO seem to have engaged their V8 engine lately. Thats good to see though, so we can end this endless wait and expectations! Please forumites, i have a quick question. Does anyone know the approximate timeline between the time you respond to AVO with your Medical details, PCC etc and their next communication with you? I guess the next thing if all goes well will be request for visa/PR interview? Solomonwis, Damkolins and the entire house please help. Very many thanks to you all for the great job here! |
