There has been some improvement down here. I spend 35-45k on fuel per month but judging by the trend so far this month, it may reduce to 25-35k.

Not big improvement but some improvement. It is however odd that countries like Benin and Togo can generate more power than Nigeria.

It is even odder when you consider that we only start seeing improvement 4 months to another election year. Makes me feel this government knows what to do but not doing it for their and their colonies' selfish interest.

hell guys please what the federal government is saying is pure and open truth. i reside at ago palace way, okota, lagos and i can confidently tell you that since 24th of october, 2014 i have not experienced any interruption of electricity. there is always contant supply of electricity to the extent that i dont remember that i have a generator. i cant remember the last time i on my generator or buy fuel. so i am enjoying full contant power supply. i know other people can attest to this massive improvement in power supply

Maybe for U. But for me in my area, Satellite Town in Lagos, power has increased drastically. I no longer buy fuel for my gen set. Without exaggerating words, I now enjoy 23 hours of uninterrupted power. Best ever i've seen.

Whatever has been done by the present government should pls be sustained.

When I woke up today, I asked my domestic support staff to confirm if we are powered by inverter and to shut it down for awhile since it remained on for 2 days now, but I was surprised to be told we have been on Public Power Supply all these while. I went down to confirm that for myself, and I am just impressed that one can sleep and wake up without the sound of generator in the neighborhood.

It doesnt matter which party you are loyal to, Power supply is economic news and we should appreciate the improvements. Even if my enemy performs well, maturity demands that I commend his efforts.
