Please, I need a sample of sponsorship letter from someone who is not bloody related. I've done some search already. I need one that has produced an outstanding result before. I just wanna double check and be sure I've framed the right content. Thanks in anticipation.
Hi, just draft a simple Sponsorship Letter. Fortunately, they do not focus more on that. However, what is paramount to the VO is whom your Sponsor really is and what he or she does for a living and of course financial documentation(Statement of Account).

Forget the dress code thing..just be comfortable with what you wear. You can find old undergraduate transcripts at the old pages..people like Ricky Rozay,Graviton,Big Francis,Babysimzy, walecryler, mandybaby etc..so many bro..take your time and make the searches don't rush

Hi Nairalanders,

Its been indeed a great thread seeing people who you dont know and indeed in turns help them sort their enquiries out eventhough they are strangers and all i can only say is that God will bless you !

I have read almost all your prevoius threads and i have satisfactorily gained a lot more !

I hope to start my Msc by Gods grace next year if all other immigration processes go well and i also have an MBA gotten in Nigeria but want Msc to better place me well for other opportunities in the future and chose to have it in the US.

I have started looking for schools but want less expensive schools in the US close to Washington(WE) as thats where my sponsor resides and he was the one that told me to apply.

I am prepraring for GRE exams which i have not started reading for it but hope to start next next week and would be glad if GRE prep materials could be sent to my box !

You guys are doing a great job !

Keep it up !

Does having a sudan visa stamp (listed under us state sponsors of terrorism) affect chances of obtaining a us student visa? Some ppl say its best to get a fresh passport..anybody with info on this shld please comment..

I hope it wasn't after you realized you shouldn't have gotten that useless sudanese visa by all mean that you realized you should have first checked U.S. terrorist labelled countries?

Well, tell the VO what you went to do if any questions pop up. Best of luck.

Peeps, I would like to know which is better between Discover and CapitalOne credit cards for a student. I must say I know next to nothing about this and I am only just beginning to research both. All suggestions will be appreciated- including the ones better than above-mentioned... Also, here is wishing all those at various stages of their visa application process divine intervention and mercies.

I have the two. I got Capitalone first and easily and built creditworthiness and then Discover started mailing me for free.

Both are good cards but from research, good credit history leads to Discover approval.

Though nowadays Discover sends students pre-approval notice in email.

@ Slimmy, I don't plan on leaving them here oh. I have to work on how to obtain their visas. Any suggestions? Is it possible I defer my admission till fall next year. I have deferred once though.

Well, there is unique motive behind everything but if I may ask, what do you want them to come and do here?

If I'm correct, why would there coming prompting you to want to defer AGAIN?

My masters program is for two years and I would like them close to me though. Don't think I have the nerves to leave them behind for two years. They will be in pre school while I'm studying.

I would say try to get some funding before leaving Nigeria(Scholarship/GA/RA) even if it doesn't cover everything, or at least be sure you can get something either during the first semester or start of the second...You can try and come here, but it's going to be bit challenging. If you're coming for a graduate program, talk to a few professors in your choice department

You cant pay sevis fee from Nigeria bank either western union or debit card because the platform for the payment is for DHS and not individual.

Go to seme border and l can give you description.

This is my present situation.

I've been processing admission in 3 schools. 2 admitted me. But the fees are outrageous.

The first is charging $54,000 for tuition and everything.

The other $37,000. I chose this one.

But all I have saved for this is 2million naira.
My first question is.... Can I cope with what I have? Will it take me anywhere or should I just pause the whole thing.

Also. My toefl result is 98. Gre is 295. What are the chances that my test score won't affect my visa interview?

Please I need urgent suggestions.

I have been denied once at the Abuja Office. But not for a student visa.
Let's feel ur past transcript. So as to know d kind of contribution to make. Thanks

Thanks everyone. The guy didn't even ask about my school or course, didn't even look at my I20, didn't request for standardized tests even though I wrote TOEFL and GRE. I prayed and fasted for a short interview and God made it happen in less than 2mins.
I pray God's favor for everyone going for interview soon.
Amen! In Jesus Name...
