VOM: Here are things you need know about malaria and typhoid parasites. They are intracellular parasites. They invade red blood cells and destroy the cells. When that happens, it leads to anaemia. The reason you get tired easily and experince chills is because you're anaemic, and likely still have strains of the parasites in you. I would not recommend or prescribe drugs for you, at least not here. But you could add me on BBM or send me a PM or email me. |

Jochebed7: Maybe you didn't dab the area enough with warm saline. Well, you should dab that spot with warm salt water(just a pinch) regularly, and apply sheabutter* after dabbing. Take fruits rich in vitamin C, as it helps the body heal quickly. |

diegs: A lady with a 30day cycle will ovulate 14days to her next menstruation. It means her ovulation will be on cd17(17th of her cycle). But her fertile period will span from 15th(cd15), 16th(cd16), 17th(cd17 Ovulation), 18th(cd18), and perhaps, to 19th(cd19). Any of those days will result in fertilization, and implantation, if all conditions are met! |

zeemoh2012: Normally, it shouldn't cause. But then, that doesn't mean the lady should submit to 'wild wild s*x'. Your second question, I presume you meant how to distinguish Premenstrual symptoms from pregnancy symptoms. Well, premenstrual symptoms normally are observed some days before the scheduled menstruation. Bre*st tenderness, abdominal cramp, and nausea are experinced some days before the actual date of the sebsequent menstruation. But for pregnancy symptoms, well, it also shares some symptoms with PMS, just that the symptoms tend to present significantly after the missed period(the date the subsequent menstruation was scheduled). |

dan1217: That's likely laryngopharyngitis. Well, you can take honey mixed with lemon. Or you can get strepsil tabs(OTC) and lick. It's a lozenges. If the dysphagia persists after 3days, then consult a physician in person for Rx! |

Francesxavier: Well, the antibiotic must have suppressed the good guy bacteria that inhabit the genital area. These bacteria actually checkmate the activities of other vag*nal florae like candida. One of such bacteria is lactobacillus. So, I'll advise you discontinue the use of that antibiotic, and the bacteria would grow again! |

U1: Please don't feel left out, i actually have you in mind. I asked my friend who's in the field of orthopaedic to reply you, since he's in a better position to give an incisive reply than I am. I'm more inclined to O&G matters. |

Hello everyone in the house, pls kindly me with my serious health issue. I started feeling this pain in my stomach and it hurts when i'm about to urinate. I visited the hospital, i did a Urinary test and the test revealed that i'm been infected by a bacteria called Shistosomia Hymatobium. I did alot of research on that and i found out it's a waterborne disease though i taught earlier before the test that maybe i'm having a sexual transmitted disease. I was placed on a drug called Praziquantel and i feel better after taking this pill for like three weeks as instructed by the Doctor. Since about two weeks now, this same problem is back again even more worst than the first time, my Urine is yellowish in colour, my eye's is turning and weaken body, i've been using this same Praziquantel but it's not working this time. What Should i do, Please help me i'm really scared. |

Redeemed: Well, that's not possible! U can't have a regular and consistent cycle without ovulatory precedence. Even in anovulation caused by ovarian cyst, the cycle won't be consistent. The menstruation would be marred by some kind of irregularities such as mid-cycle spotting. But the best and the ideal way of knowing ovulation occurs is by observing Egg White Cervical Mucus. If you do observe some clear and stretchy discharge around your mid-cycle, then it's a confirmation that you're ovulating, even if the discharge is little. To the contrary, if you don't observe any cervical discharge around dat mid-cycle period, then you're anovulating. NB: A regular and consistent menstruation indicates that ovulation occurs! |

Akeem1759: Well, the praziquantel is an antihelmintic. I guess the reason why the infection relapsed was due to the release of newly hatched eggs from the liver into the bloodstream. The praziquantel was effective in eliminating much of the adult flukes, but wasn't enable to eliminate the eggs embedded in hepatic cells. Ask your physician if it's ok to combine praziquantel with pyr***tel pa***te or alb*****ole. Just write it out the way it's written and show it to him, he'll understand and decide. NB: Schistosomia haematobium is not a bacteria. It's a platyhelminth(a flatworm) |

Re: Health Advice: Doctors Online by Nobody: 12:12pm On Nov 07, 2014 |
Ifyikillz: Her menstrual delay is most likely due to the side effects of the antibiotics. So don't fret, she need not run a PT. Immediately she's done with the dose, the effects will wear off. |

Hi doc, is sugarcane healthy 4 me to take........ wont d sugar in it do som harm? |
Re: Health Advice: Doctors Online by Nobody: 1:12pm On Nov 07, 2014 |
Mati4christ: Sugarcane is much healthier to take than refined sugar. Sugarcane contains natural sucrose, which hasn't been modified or refined. But that doesn't mean you should take it excessively. |
Re: Health Advice: Doctors Online by Nobody: 1:29pm On Nov 07, 2014 |
emeraldoe: I'm sorry about that. Well, your nasal cogestion is quite persistent. But I guess the reason is because you actually missed out an important medication. You missed out vitamin C. It seems the vitamin C in your body is drastically low. Ascorbic acid, better known as vitamin C, helps the body to fight off infections, germs, cold, and nasal cogestion. For your dyspnea, you may get a strong inhaler to help dilate and clear the nasal clog in your nasal cavity. |
Re: Health Advice: Doctors Online by Nobody: 1:48pm On Nov 07, 2014 |
Missyetty: Perhaps you lack vitality. Here's what you should do........ You need take natural fruits and vegetables rich in antioxidants. You may also get ginseng biloba, vitaminc C and vitamin E supplements. They are good antioxidants. Also, it's very important you exercise regularly to help strengthen your muscles, and increase metabolism. You can get a skipping rope and skip at least 100 every session for a start. Skip just right before you take your bath. You can also go jogging if your street is safe for that. You can also engage in aerobic every weekend. If you diligently and consistently do all of these, I guarantee you, you'll be strong enough to stop a moving train. |

Marc9:I need help. A friend of mine took some pills n injection to get rid of pregnancy. It worked but she is still feeling serious pains in her abdomen six days after. what can she take to ease d pains. Sincere advice needed. |
Re: Health Advice: Doctors Online by Nobody: 5:20pm On Nov 08, 2014 |
mizkeleke: The abdominal pain is likely from the effects of the abo***facients she took. She's having severe uterine contraction. If the pain is still unbearable, then an antispasmodic, or a pain reliever can ease the contraction/pain. You can send me a PM. I don't Rx drugs online But then, how many weeks gone was your friend before she took those pills and inj? |
