Michael1000: Guy why start undergrad again?? You should have applied for masters. Shorter, better career prospects in line with your age. Physics is a good course so I don't see why another Bsc is the way forward. But hey what do I know? Could work for you. |

Guys, any advice posted here are flocks of opinions and no one is ready to be wish it on the other party. If you're not okay with it, Bleep off or have a seat and watch. You came in two months ago and you want to scatter the beautiful class we've been having. Yoruba says: eni a ba laba ni baba. Please, in all let's have courtesy. Good manner is the first step to success, not student visa. Your behaviour is what will lead you to that success which you long for. |

Please my people in the house. I have an issue and I want you to help me with advice or anything. I have gotten admit from a school in Illinois for my graduate study and I have already gotten assurance of full financial support from my elder sibling and visa before his business had issue. So it's obvious financial support will be difficult but I can't allow my hard earned visa go like that. I'm thinking of going like that with the small $3k he promised to provide and my program is suppose to commence by January for the upcoming spring semester. Ive not travelled out before and I don't have friends or siblings or relative in the US that I can lean on. What should I do? Is the risk of still going to US worth it? What if the school ask me to pay fees before writing exam. I'm really in a fix now I don't know what to do. PM replies would be most welcomed. |

Ctemi:Hello, the school is okay but for Embassy here in Nigeria, I cannot ask you to gamble. Though, gambling is part of the game. Get a better school for your studies, once you bypass these guys, you can only always switch back to your prefered choice of school. |

hi everyone, my name is Adeyeni I've been denied a US visa 3 times now. 1st was a visitation for my bro's grad in Georgia where my uncle (a medical doctor in Georgia) stood as my sponsor yet denied under section 214b. I didn't re apply cos I needed a better chance for my student visa after grad. I went june 2014, this time through an agent who claimed in my ds 160 that I've no relative abroad to increase my chances of getting the student visa( claimed my uncle was back in Nigeria handling his own clinic and bro was working at a consulting firm here) as a grad and need to go for masters abroad where my dad stood as my sponsor, yet I was denied again under same section 214b. I deferred my admission till spring, did all myself and went Nov 4, yet denied under ds same section and now the consular looked up and told me to go online study the error 214b and avoid my denial when next I apply. I really cant tell where the problem is but I sure fixed another appointment for myself 1st week in December. Am confused and need your advice, a friend told me to look up and express myself here. I need to get things right this time. pls where do I go wrong or how can I avoid and get my visa. thanks |

adeyeni86:Welcome to this forum. Please do not let your visa denials hold you back because a loser today can be a winner tomorrow. Obviously, I'm not comfortable with an Agent getting involved in your application. If you are truly sure that you didn't submit fake documents in the course of your interview, then gurus here would help you but if it's other way round, then it's sayonara. In addition to that, do not limit your chances. Apply to schools in Canada and Australia. New Zealand is also okay but quite expensive. I'm sure you wouldn't want to study in the UK ![]() |

I didn't go in with any fake document. I just desire to leave and go for my masters asap. I have plans to consider canada but I have faith to put things right with the US consular. I was a novice when I used the agent then. Now, after deferring my admission with murray, I've been on it myself without any help. I need to know what's to be done to get ds right ds last time. |
