IF you read me well. I said atleast a standardized test. You need to show the VO of no immigrant intend even as he knows you're a Potential immigrant.

Your friend ha a good profile. So he can go ahead. He has atleast an edge and can claim he visited California and checked the school and was opportunist to have a chat with the international student advisor

Standardized or no standard test, one you're able to defend yourself. But give a benefit of doubt and take one standardized test as the VO might request for it.

Since my Father is sponsoring me, do i need another letter of support or a form that he will fill. Also, do i need my birth certificate, local government attestation, Likewise, will my statement of result from my university be tenable because i don't have d certificate, same with neco certificate, i only have the neco statement of result issued by school. Similarly, i wrote 2 IELTS, and i have 6.0 in d 1st and have to write another one aince my sch requires 6.5 and i have 6.5 in d 2nd. Do i have to take d 2 along of just d one i used for d sch. So early this morning i put a link to a facebook group that has lots of freebies and useful info i thought may help some prospective GRE student, mr. justwise or mr. mod may i know why it was deleted? DDamiit, the entire post was deleted too? Yes there's a paltry no. of businesses --largely indian, foreign -- which solicit students patronage on the site but that's a drop compared to the value anyone would get as i found out while doing my own prep over a year ago ( thorny/tricky quant and verbal questions posted on the forum from users of the 22,000+ sized group; a repository of free GRE docs/books, free keys to gre mock tests etc etc) . I never paid a damn doing my own prep and i don't imagine any one here would. In the past I've played devils advocate when you delete links people put here including mine cos i see the point of establishing a rich vibrant community where we can find all the useful information herein. But now i can't. Does nairaland allow people upload free ebooks? Are there 200+ students posting tricky GRE questions on the forum and other posters to answer them? That's why i dropped the link. Out of sheer generosity and not any thinly guised financial gain. Ok so i suggested people who have extra cash to spare can try magoosh but what has that got to do with anything? Do i run magoosh? Lets say i was on some other forum and i met a nigerian and dropped nairaland.com cos i see it may be useful to her. The mod sees it and deletes it only because nairaland displays banners/ads.. well, you see my point? My complaints aside, there's still the possibility that there's an entirely legitimate reason i haven't considered, and i'd like to hear it.

you don't need your birth cert.,local govt.identification. If you don't have your uni.certificate..you should go with your statement of result and transcripts.

You don't need the neco bro,if you've got a waec you can go with that,just incase.(But you don't need that)You should take your ielts result of 6.5 with you.Just take your dad's statement of account along with you.

I believe you have a Nigerian passport too.What country are in now?Are you for spring or fall 2015..Mind you spring application is almost over for some schools.

Check out universities in Dakota,uni.of Minnesota,arkansas,oregon state uni.,uni of colorado,uni.of chicago.

If you're not satisfied with the above results,you can always use an internet search engine.Good luck

To be sincere with you it cant work because the way US embassy is securing their site nowadays. I could remember someone dropped date for me in August 7th around 3am so that i can pick her own August 13th or so and go for my interview, i kept on refreshing the date but no available date for that August 13th until now.. Even now you cant update your ds160 code on your own, you will need to contact them for them to do it.
