Stop all this rubbish of saying someone is lying and give this forum a little decency, try face an intelligent debate.

Nigerian army artillery guns are well over 700 units, check SIPRI, Wikipedia, Beegeagle and Defenceweb, count all the different artillery types and numbers then add them all up, D-30, OTO Melara and M-56 Yugo alone are 600 artillery guns in Nigeria without counting Bofors and Palmaria, then the M46, D-20 and D-74 artillery too.

Now to the real life battlefield.....

What gives you impression that armies at war are always over 20km apart and away from each other?

How do tanks and infantry fight at that range?

Even your SAAF chief complains that at too long a range like Mokopa 10km, an army will lose accuracy of fire.

Wars are not fought and won 20km distance away, armies have to close-in and engage.

50,000 SANDF will face 150,000 Nigerian army that will completely encircle you like a round ring of fire and crush SANDF into the centre.

Anyway, Nigerian Bofors FH-77B artillery has range 41km, superior to SANDF G-6 artillery range of 39km

Bofors 73

Palmaria 50

M-56 Yugo 200

D-30 and M-series 200

Oto Melara about 150

M-46, D-20, etc over 20

Over 660 units.

Current SANDF artillery corps have ZERO war experience in the last 20 years, Nigerian artillery has constant and regular war experience since 20 years ago up till today as we speak

.

We are the only country in Africa that has a battle school where we experience and test weapons live. So our artillery battery does not need any experience at all.

Those numbers are straight up fraudulent

Makopa can be fired at any distance up to 10km, the Army Cheif did not complain about the Makopa's use for us - he was referring to other underdeveloped countries

Artillery generally fights at long range

FH-77B has a maximum range of only 30,000 m when using advanced HEER Ammunition - which you do not have. Your actual maximum range with standard ammunition is 24km

G5 and G6 have maximum ranged in excess of 55km

Nigerian Army cannot encirlce a high-mobility army like the SANDF. They cannot even encircle towns held by Boko Haram.

You do not need battle-experience to know how to fire your artillery peice - just training (nigeria has very little)

7 Killer blows to your entire post.

HIV in SA is no longer a death sentence, they all lead a healthy lifestyle.
yeah, no longer a death sentence in normal civil situations. Not in a war arena where funds are being stretched to meet normal supplies and you have to cope with purchasing and supplying antiretroviral drugs and other stuffs.
Believe me, a HIV ridden battalion is a morally and physically beaten army already.

SA is the only country among ten nations in the world which has battle academy. Our forces do not need the so called experience since they are pre-programmed about what to do in a war zone. They are being trained about different tactics, offensive and defensive formations, planning and strategising, etc. We do everything practically and not abstractly like many militaries.

So you have proof the chinese didn't steal specs from the other points where they are stored?

#the chinese are alleged to have also hacked into lockheed martin, Boeing and other top U.S aerospace and defence companies.

You cannot claim an Aircraft that is designed using "all" the specs of the F-35 is sh1t.

No, you do not know what a blueprint is.

If the J-31 is shiit, the F-35 is also shiit.

This is the fact.

If the Chinese had stolen the entire specs don't you think they would've produced the unique Engine the F-35 has, just as quickly as they produced the rest of the Aircraft, why are they considering Russian Engines instead of making they're own version of the Pratt & Whitney F135 Engine.

Dude this Argument is not going to stop, fact is none of us have any idea what the entire specs of both Aircrafts are, Not even the Average American know what's in the F-35.
And you can't say the F-35 is Sh*t, the J-31 is a copy and copies are rarely ever as good as the real thing, but anyway there's no point in arguing about something we don't have full details of.

The Chinese may have copied shapes and stolen 'blueprints' but most forget you also need to have an ability to craft your own super alloys, improve engine thrust, efficiency, torque and so much more. This is the reason why the F35 costs is spiralling out of control.

The Chinese quite alright have managed to piggyback on a successful design (which came after $billion trial and error by the Americans) but their aircraft would always play second fiddle to any design they steal.
Yeah thank you very much wonderful post, they got a great design for free and yeah the copy won't be as good as the original.

That is not a problem at all. It does not say the whole of SANDF troops are positive and ARVs in the force are plenty enough and does not put strain on supply.

Not even quota of members are HIV positive.

Rhino poaching is not a security threat. The government had already established a strong force which will deal with poaching and is called anti-poaching squad without having to involve military.

Same as SA, HIV is no longer a problem in our land and instead it has changed its drive to Nigeria where it is ravaging the people.

However, Nigeria does not have the official stats of HIV in their force as well as that of the public.

Are you quoting statistics? If your defence ministry would make an official report about the HIV prevalence rate in your army, then it is an issue also in your society.

Nigeria's HIV rate is well documented with figures which shows a yearly decline consistently.
That's why sa leads by ratio of percentage.

With regards to poaching, that is law enforcement and is not the concern of the military

With regards to military history, unlike Nigeria, South Africa has fought real wars. And unlike Nigeria, South Africa has yet to lose a single battle. Unlike Nigeria, our COIN ops against PLAN were highly successful.

With regards to African rankings, Nigeria is well behind South Africa.

In support, as SAPS and SANParks lacked adequate helicopter and Recon assets. The SANDF also had overlapping objectives in certain parts of Kruger parks with regards to border control.

For the SANDF it was a secondary tasking

what wars did southy fought. Spare us the rough road trips of going back to multi national campaigns and the cuban dabacle.

If, your assertions are even half truths,Egypt and Ethiopia won't be rated above your army.

Southafrica was good on paper, during the apartheid regimes of pik botha and co, when she feared her neighbours and worried about a revolution and black unrest spurning from within or without.

As soon as that was sorted, her infrastructure decayed and her personel which was previously made of white army became mixed with coloured folks who were rebels and ragtag. This further deteriorated the army and promoted gross indesciplined and lack of professionalism.

With a population of 55million and a considerable size of HIV prevalence (stats are from your DM) southafrica lack fighting soldiers and infrastructure.

Normally I ignore your posts coz you're a factless troll BUT I just need to get this in order.

- Nigeria has NO capacity to fight any enemy in any shape, BOKO Haram has and keeps demonstrating it a countless times.
- Nigeria has NO capacity to fight any enemy of any shape, MEND demonstrated this in the Niger Delta. You had to negotiate them out

The SANDF regular checks the health of its personnel, NO new recruit is taken in if they failed health tests including HIV tests. You keeep encircling the HIV non-factor as if its a factor..

While you are continually battling Boko Haram in Nigeria, South Africa has;

- Slayed the infamous M23 out of existance
- We have taken out the Mai-Mai to insignificance together with other related armed militia of the eastern Congo

We feared which neighbor? Why do you think the closest MK (ANC) base was in Tanzania and Zambia? Because the SA military could strike any of the neighboring states at any time.

- Mozambique was bridged into a countless times and the SADF would go in and out as they pleased... Samora Machel was summoned by Botha to get rid of the ANC and he obliged.
- Robert Mugabe feared Botha, he never confronted him despite the fact that he fought in Rhodesian Bush War
- We operated in Angola unregulated for 25 years, Cuba and the Angolans couldnt break our defense lines....SADF killed almost 10 000 Cubans and in a real conventional war, the biggest one after WWII.

Now compare how many lives were lost between these two countries, South Africa in the Angolan Bush War then Nigeria in the Baifra War
