you nailed it

theres so much of brainstorming of hate which they can use to better Nigeria as whole
this status of empty chest beating while d rich are thinking abt themself n d poor increase daily

Life is so good n fair in SA
no amount of critics can change dt
d time of fleeing to other contries. because of oppression is gone diferent race, culture, religion of this
rainbow nations values is what makes us unique n too diferent for some peoples liking
wev seen worse dt y freedom is for all Citizen

You are so right, that's all it is - hate. They flee to our country in droves to chase after the good life we have, call us names because we have it good without having to con someone or prostitute some poor woman or ruin some poor youth's future. If Nigeria has such a great economy why do we South Africans have an illegal immigration problem? No South African would be so desperate they would be willing to be a second class citizen in another country. You don't see South Africans running to Nigeria for an education. I have a Nigerian friend who had to come to SA to buy stuff for her wedding in SA. I also have business with a Nigerian. To send me documentation eg she has to use private courier company and they always take about a week to arrive where as I use the government postal services and she get things from my side within 72 hours, sometimes our skying gets interrupted because of power outages and the likes - problems we don't have in SA.

Nigeria's economy in terms of GDP according to the world bank (an organisation i don't trust with accurate figures on Nigeria), is 510 bn dollar.

^and what is the point of the epistle you wrote?,you can "lol" and "lolest" as much as you like, the content of your post is so empty, that even a primary school dropout will percieve you as a mentally benighted fellow.i asked you a simple question, the SK currency is lesser in value than the rand, does that mean that SA's economy is far more developed than SK's economy?.i didnt say that GDP and population make a country the biggest economy,do you have dyslexia?,what i said is that small population=higher HDI and GDP per capita.

Honey pie stop the hate and name calling and learn some comprehension skills. As for South Korea I did answer you, go back I had modified my comment you probably read it before it uploaded. Baby cakes, population does not make or break HDI or GDP per capita. Sigh... Guess I do need to break this down for you but I'm not gonna go into detail please find a grade 10 student to explain this to you further, here we go:
* GDP is basically the amount of income generated within the borders of a country this includes income generated by SA companies in Nigeria. Efficiency, economic activity and infrastructure are very vital more than population.
* GDP per capita calculated the distribution of that GDP. RATE OF UNEMPLOYMENT is the bigger factor more than population. The HEALTH and STRENGTH of the economy (ie the value of GDP) is what counts hence China with its 1.63 BILLION population has a high GDP and GDP per capita
* HDI - I wonder if you know what that means since you and your comrades having been crapping about the SA government and calling us lazy because our government invests in our development. Anywho, HDI aka HUMAN DEVELOPMENT Index measures things such as quality and access to eg education and health, the infrastructure, quality of living etc (you know the services ActiveKruger has been telling you about). That is, the things your government should be providing which you and your fellows claim lead to lazy South Africans (lol). Obviously in a healthy economy government can provide these public goods.

I'm not explaining further than that, like I said if you still don't understand find someone in grade 10 to explain to you.

Re: Where Is Nigeria In The G-20 by ActivateKruger: 1:36pm On Nov 16, 2014
To put figures into perspective here

- Lower income
- Upper-lower income
- Lower-middle income (Nigeria)
- Middle income
- Upper-middle income (South Africa)
- Lower-upper income
- Upper income

There is an income gap between the 2 countries, as I keep saying - Nigeria's economy is paper economy

how exactly did the world bank arrive at this? They did this after dividing the total GDP by the GDP per capita. So they arrived at some figures which are just mathematics on paper.

To let you know, the total GDP you see as 510bn dollar is only that in the formal sector of the economy. The informal sector of the economy is where MOST nigerians are. Nigeria has a very large informal sector, just to let you know. The profits and sales we make go undocumented. How else do you think we are able to provide power for ourselves, provide education for ourselves, provide water for ourselves, etc if our average income is that figure put to you by the World Bank? Use your head, if it is well educated.

Nigeria's economy isn't paper economy. It is real economy. As real as the fact that a woman gave birth to you.

As for the income gap: you may be paid more on the average compared to us but your cost of living is also higher than ours! That offsets any sort of difference in income, fact!

don't mind the dumb boy! The Japanese Yen is about two Naira and is even far less than the Rand. Does that mean that the Japanese economy is just twice Naigeria's economy? That the rand is bigger than the yen means SA's economy is better than the Japanese economy, according to die die! Hmm, i really admire their universities, Lol.

And for Big brother (i don't watch it but i hea of it), you made me laugh there. This is a show its anchors are Nigerian, fact! This is a show its back room staff are Nigerian, fact! You really need to see the cast or whtever they call it to know what exactly i am saying. Without Nigeria

as for immigration, we are acccording to our cencus figures in 2006, we have 15million foreigners in Naija. You don't hear us complain becos those who come in provide their own jobs, that's no1. Secondly, we are immigrants friendly. We have actually carried the burden of the continent on our shoulders for so long. This refelcted in our foreign policies even prior to independence. We have superior skills compared to most of the foreigners that come in. They take jobs we don't even want. We are not as lazy as you lot, fact!

As for why we go out, i would like to tell you that you find the chinese in all parts of the world; the same thing with the indians. Does that mean they economy is rubbish? That you cannot go out of your country doesn't mean you are ok. It only means you don't have the money to go out that far since the countries around you, which you could have emigrated to, are not as boyant as you.

Nigerians anywhere are not putting pressure on your public system. They create their own jobs. They employ your own people. You people cannot even stand this that's why there is so much animosity from you lot.

Empty vessels make the most noise clearly. Shoprite in Abuja or whatever has nigerian floor workers, nigerian cashiers, nigerian managers... So what? That Big Brother has Nigerian staffers and is shot in Nigeria is moot. The rights are still owned by a South African company and its still commissioned by a South African company and the income generated still filters back to SA. Comprehension is not a very strong point for you and ver-whatever person therefore I refuse to engage further with you.

DING! DING! That is the point!!! Those things you say you provide for yourself you shouldn't have to!!! Those are called ... PUBLIC GOODS ... Why? ... Because GOVERNMENT is meant to provide them. ... How does that fit into the argument? ... In a strong, healthy economy government is able to provide public goods and thereby raise the standard of living of its citizens (ie HDI). ... Why do public goods and governments provision of them matter? ... Because a raised standard of of living means more economic activity which means more income generated which means raised tax base which means better government services etc. ... Does informal sector matter? ... No ... Why? ... Because the informal sector means leakage from the economics system, because money is generated by the system and money leaks unemployment rises which leads to low economic activity, which leads to lower tax base and lower government service which leads to nigeria.

FYI: nigeria is not the only country with an informal sector.

Oh and by the way just because someone else insulted you does not mean you should insult me. Go to the library, talk to a grade 10 student, youtube, whatever - get yourself educated it is very clear you know NOTHING about economics and have no understanding how it works.

And no, we are not empty vessel and we don't make noise. If we were emty vessel, we wouldn't have been able to have the sort of immigrant base we have, fact! They come here becos they know that there is something here they can take home. A mason i know from Benin Rep who has worked here for just a short time has been able to build a decent 3 bedroom apartment for his mother back in Benin Rep.

You cant' even begin to compare our immigration rate with that of SA. If you, @diedie, say that Nigeria is ECOWAS and ECOWAS in Nigeria, you will be pardoned. And no, i am not being an emty vessel and i certainly do not make any noise at all not to talk of loud noise. Just to let you know that there is a free movement within ECOWAS. This is the reason we have such a large immigrant base. Formally, a citizen of ECOWAS can move to work anywhere withing the sub-region for 90 days without visa. But today, we can settle anywhere for as long as we want without visa. But no, we don't hate people who believe in us and share our ideals and feel compeled to want to be part of us. That is why even though SOME of the immigrants are also involved in BH, we still can't disregard the ECOWAS protocol.

So what is "premature" about my statement, huh? In SA, a 15 year old boy can't impregnate a girl and that's why you call that duration of time premature, hmm, there is God oo.
