I've a colleague that had been trying for like 6months and I advised her to do hsg which she did and got pregnant that same month. I believe the hsg helped so fear fear mamas, brace urself togeda and do it. Lol

Thanks Bcolah. Cajah is short for micajah (hebrew) which means who is like GOD. I will try oh...I have a lot of years to catch up on.

Please my sisters in waiting don't give up. I had lost hope in conceiving naturally when late last year I came across this thread and it really helped build my faith. The tsunami has removed a lot of fantastic posts that challenged me and helped me get to where I am today. There were so many people who came here in sorrow but within some time had gotten their victories.

@twintower, vitex does not contain any hormone but jus works on the pituirity glands to stimulate the brain to do what it ought to do which means a man can take it, the monks take it to lower their libido that is why it is called "chaste berry" but you need to do some more research to know how your dh can take it cos prolong use might lower libido which is not good for him at the moment, but i think it might help balance his hormones or maybe you should look for herbs to help balance male hormones.....its time to do your work o! you are a wife and mother to your dh, give him all the support he needs now...encourage him to do some research or visit the below links cos there are lots of hope out there

@twin tower, My dear. It is well with u. As difficult as this might sound, you have to stop crying and put yourself together. There is really nothing impossible with God.

What you should do now is to start looking for possible solutions I. E diet change, medications and above all prayers. God works always. You should be thankful to God that you have a husband and that he is alive. A dead man can't produce sperm my dear.

This too will pass. Your tears will only make the devil happy. Your tears can't resurrect the sperm.

@shithapuns, it is well with your dw, let her not get tired, if it is endometriosis you can still use google to find out herbal remedies and if it is a side effect of the 3 months fertility treatment she can avoid synthetic drugs for now and try to use herbal remedy to correct her system, fertil aid and ovaboost might help to restore her system.
@twintower, you are lamenting too much o....i have never heard any bad news that remained bad news forever except you want it to remain bad news, everyone has given you hope except you...you need to encourage your self in the Lord, i suspect you are the reason ur dh has lost some weight cos when he looks at you, his heart skips cos he doesnt know what is on your mind and u are probably his last hope, with his present state he cant even think of another woman except you and he will have a lot of fears that if you back out that his world will collapse, this is a trial of your faith, what you say or do now will determine how long it will last, you need to hold his hand daily and pray for him, declare over him that the bible said no male or female shall be barren and therefore he is not permitted to be barren and let God overturn the doctors report and promise him that in the next 3 months that the doctors will be shocked at his result becos not only will his result change but that they will also confirm that he has impregnated his wife.....if you are in Nigeria look for a bible beleiving church and attend where your faith can grow and if you are abroad look for a Living faith Church aka Winners Chapel and attend and let your faith build up, you might as well start taking communion on a daily basis, the blood of Jesus paid for it all so you will reinforce that new covenant of fruitness upon your family and let him annoint his joystick daily that spirit of no sperm count will walk out of him.......same way some women use to have bd dream and become barren thats how men too use to have such dream and become barren as well, always bind every sucumbus spirit from your marriage and command it to leave...the bible said in the begining it was not so! an enemy has done this!

@twintower u need to build ur faith and believe wht the word of God says. When God made ur dh he said be fruitful and multiply d earth according to Genesis. Dis is d word of God and not d word of man. Doctors were not there when God made that decree. In the plan of God he knows nothing about low sperm or no sperm all he knows is that he made u,dh and everyone of us in his image and after his likeness and at d end he blessed us. @twin tower...my sis,God is able to do all things...am new here,I v bin on d Ivf thread but I jus feel I should comment cos I feel ur pain.i also felt d same way wen I went to collect my dh result after trying for lik 4months,it's bin 2yrs n 10 months now.d doc also told me dat d result is VERY BAD dat my dh has azoospermia(zero sperm count),I freaked wen I heard it,he den ask if we were married,I said yes n he said"haa...u can't get pregnant with dis result" but he later said well,I have to be prayerful and be very patience....he placed him on addyzoa for 3months without result after sometime my dh went bk there for another SFA,he den forged a result written with his hand n told me its 10million dat it's taking time to buildup dat we should try IUI not knowing that it's still zero,we tried iui three times,he didn't placed dh on any medication during d process,he jus kept exploiting us n treating us bad cos we v to keep calling him sometimes without reply,sometimes he will do d IUI after ovulation wen I tell him I v passed my fertile day,he ll wave it aside n try to confuse us..to cut d story short...we tried several doc dat still gave us d same result dat his FSH is high....recently we tried IUI again twice no result,what I just wanna say is all through this wahala ...I v bin encouraging dh to be strong n believe in God,I cry sometimes but I have peace within me that I ll surely have my own children....I jus want encourage u to be still and believe in God because in dis case its only God dat can bring d sperm dat ll fertilize ur egg...am not yet pregnant but I have the assurance that I will...this morning I was talking to myself that how can I be so calm with this zero sperm tin without fears?then the Holy Spirit told me that my worry,fears and anxiety won't solve d situation but only God....put your trust in God,he can do it and he will...just be strong...my story is so long but I have to stop here just to encourage you so u know u ain't alone in this....God is so awesome that he can do anything...I don't pray for sperm anymore,I pray for the power of the Holy Spirit to overshadow me to conceive...be calm,God never fails...God has given me assurance n also spoken to me that this too will pass...so trust in God,I know it's not easy,I ve had many sleepless night,tears etc...but in all I am still grateful to have life n to have God...he will do it for us...so for d long post...cheers

@twin tower...I forgot to mention that you can also verify if dh zero sperm is obstructive or non obstructive cos many factors can hinder d sperm from getting to the ejaculate like varicocele,testicular failure etc...find out den u will know wat next to do...all the best

Sweetie please check for this thread on nairaland alternative TTC. I got a lot of good information and advice from there. I had unbalanced hormones for a long time.

I think you and hubby need to come together and have one focus- positive outcome only. Then Google on natural ways to balance hormones for male and female. Detox and change your diet. Despite what you read it's not all the drugs listed out there that is good for you. you need to go on vegetable juicing diet.

When I researched and put all the information I had gathered together in my house we stopped eating anyhow and for 2 months we changed to a strictly vegetable and fruit diet. Everyday I took apple cider 2 ice , broccoli and quaker oats for breakfast , changed my oil to canola oil , ate fruits for lunch , did lots of fruit juice watermelon , carrots , Tiger nut , ugwu juice ,almond juice , no milo or powdered milk , no sugar, beans every day , ugwu vegetable stew or soup , etc. I read a lot on the alternative thread on how to boost my hubby's system while working on my own. It wasn't easy but today I have a baby to prove that with GOD and the right information no matter how bad the medical investigation might reveal anything is possible.

Do you know I was told that medically my ovary was reducing in quality and that my eggs were aging. In fact I was told that even with IVF I should consider the option of donor eggs for better success rate. Thank GOD for my hubby who rejected that result and encouraged me in my efforts. Yet I got pregnant naturally.

Hello everyone,am new on this thread though I joined IVF thread recently.I av been TTC for over 4yrs.I did hormonal assay. Few weeks ago - prolactin one thousand plus,FSH 13.7. Am seriously down and sometimes I just feel like will this journey ever come to an end? I had fibroid operation last year, did ivf early this year .just when I was putting myself together for another cycle of IVF I got this hormonal assay result.I have started bromocriptine.pls is there anyone with similar experience? What other medications and. natural products can I use? How long does it take for prolactin to regulate with bromocriptine?baby dust to us all.

@moma, it is well. For the question on prolactin, it depends on individual. To some, they get pregnant the same month they start using it, some three to six months and to some, it never worked.

Make sure you add B6 and folic acid to it. Shalom.
