Tokunbohkinibig: A point of correction , that there were igbos called to office to fix the economy and the telecom sector does not prove that Obasanjo likes or loves igbos. This was a man who ended up using every opportunity he had to remind igbos that civil war was fought for Niger delta oil while Niger deltans remain dead mute over their oil. The same man goes around looking for a candidate that would kick out the only Niger Delta candidate 10 Likes |

Two Nigerians, Tony Elumelu and Orji Uzor Kalu, with four other persons have joined Forbes list of 50 richest people in Africa. Tony Elumelu (New) Tony Elumelu According to Forbes, Elumelu, a Nigerian investor and founder of African investment firm, Heirs Holdings, joins the rich list with a net worth of $1 billion. Forbes said Elumelu owns a controlling stake in Transcorp, a listed Nigerian conglomerate that has interests in insurance, healthcare, hotels, power production, energy and agriculture, adding that he is a proponent of Africapitalism, an economic philosophy that propagates that the African private sector has the power to transform the continent through long-term investments, creating both economic prosperity and social wealth. “Elumelu made his fortune when he bought into a struggling Nigerian commercial bank and transformed it into the United Bank for Africa, a leading commercial bank with a presence in 19 African countries,” Forbes said. On Kalu, Forbes said, “He is better known in Nigeria as a politician. But the former governor of Abia state, located in Nigeria’s southeastern region, is also one of the country’s most successful businessmen. “He made his first million at age 20 by trading agricultural commodities, and then found his way into the circles of influential military personnel who awarded him lucrative contracts to import and supply arms and ammunition to Nigeria’s defense forces. He made a killing reinvesting his profits into expanding Slok Group, his privately-held trading and manufacturing empire. “The Slok Group, a West African conglomerate in which he owns more than 90 per cent, has interests in shipping, banking, aviation, steel and manufacturing. His country home in Igbere, Abia State, has 400 rooms and is one of the largest private - See more at: http://www.vanguardngr.com/2014/11/elumelu-kalu-join-africas-top-50-richest-persons/#sthash.V7PdjTJO.dpuf |

smallJagaban:We file a suit against him because we are igbo men. We always make out something out of nothing. when compensation is payed, do u think those quite yo-robber people that was deported back to onitsha will get penny from it? Yo-robbers are daft and shallow minded people that's why they normally keep quite even when their kinsman deport them to another region I can't imagine Obiano deporting igbos+other tribes to kano and some daft igbos will be happy because one or two yo-robbers are among the deportees 5 Likes |

I remember reading an edition of the defunct 'prime people' magazine in the late 80's that was titled "The youngest millionaires in Nigeria". There were 3 guys on that list (none of them were even up to 30 years old then) who are now Billionaires and are now on this present list. Those guys were Aliko Dangote who can into commodities especially sugar, Mike Adenuga who was into merchant banking ( I think he was chairman of Devcom merchant Bank) and Orji Uzor Kalu who was into shipping and oil. These 3 guys had already made so much money still in their 20's that it was unbelievable. I don't know if Orji Uzor Kalu stole when he was Governor, that's for the Law court to decide, but I know he was already a Billionaire long before he moved into government house. 4 Likes |

azzima:Typical yo-robber man with his cave and pretending mentality. Can you prove that igbos are killed everywhere in the north? Can you also prove that Yo-robber people are spared each time there is religious riot in the north? Just keep on deceiving yourself, while the north keep on slaughtering your brothers and sisters in their abode. Just like I told the guy up there, you people are always happy when iGbos are among the victims of bad circumstances, you smellos won't mind the number of your tribes men that was affected in the circumstances so far 1or2 igbo men is affected. Cretinous smellos. Awon dingbats 6 Likes |

oduaboy1: Adenuga , Alakija, Otedola etc were on the list on the grace of Niger Delta oil wells ,we are here talking about Billionaires who built their fortune without recourse to the Niger delta oil wealth people and whose wealth is not affected by oil price like Otedola who falls in and out of the list and Alakija who will be forced out of the forbes list by 2016 when the oil re licensing is carried out to correct the criminal oil licensing done during the miliatry regime of Babangida and Abacha. 4 Likes |

oduaboy1: That is why they are fighting to make sure Jonathan will not be re elected however it is too late for them and Niger Deltans have woken up from their Slumber and will definitely not take things lying low , this is based on the body Language of the heads of their private armies Tompolo and Asari . I wish F. Alakija, Otedola, Adenuga luck in advance , if the criminal oil well allocations are not overturned in Abuja they will be overturned in the creeks 5 Likes |
