F117AA: Nollywood is worth $800million a year... 2 South African malls make more money that. You're ignorant |

@my fellow SAns: let us leave these delusional and ignorant Nigerians. Please understand they are hungry and malnourished therefore their brains lack nutrition to develop properly and be able to absorb knowledge and function properly. Talking sense to them is a pointless exercise. Their arrogance knows no bounds, even when it clearly does not serve them. @Naijas: since you have such a wonderful a wonderful economy and government, come get your brothers and sisters they are depleting our "pathetic" economy, clearly our sympathy to their plight has been misguided. 1 Like |

F117AA: - First you state the G20 is useless BUT you wish Nigeria was part of it. - Second you fail to explain to me why the G20 was useless, so I will take it its useless because Nigeria is sidelined...... as usual. - Again you fail to point out which G20 economy was lesser than of Pakistan and Egypt. Your ignorance is persistent |
Re: Where Is Nigeria In The G-20 by ActivateKruger: 7:37pm On Nov 21, 2014 |
Nollywood is bullsh8 low quality movie industry. South Africa makes movies that sell international. - Name me a single Nigerian movie that has made $100mil in Box Office.... there's none. - Name me any Nigerian who has been nominated for an Oscar. - Name me any Nigerian movie that has been nominated for an Oscar. |

ActivateKruger:As you can see, this thread was created by a south african. I actually don't give a fucck about the G20. I am putting things in perspective. Btw i am sure egypt and pakistan are not the only nations listed. It was a wikipedia error which i have just confirmed. Taiwan iran malaysia thailand Nigeria are legitimate G20 economies with some of them more diverse than south africa's. |
Re: Where Is Nigeria In The G-20 by Nobody: 8:08pm On Nov 21, 2014 |
ActivateKruger:You are a joker. Nollywood made close to $1.0 billion last year and is by far the biggest movie industry of black origin, excluding black hollywood. These are facts verifiable online. South african movie industry is a dwarf. The fact that nollywood movies are proliferated all over the african continent, south america, the carribean and even some parts of europe shows you how big it is. Btw i have only watched 2 southafrican films in my entire life, district 9 and jacob 's cross. You will be hard pressed to find a south african movie in Nigeria. 1 Like |

DieeDiee:what is this zulu fisherman saying?,so MPs fighting in parliament is "good" democrasy?,what "parliamentary TV" are you blabbing about?,i'm an avid lover of politics, parliamentarians in the UK do not throw punches!,dont fabricate malicious lies that cant be proved.you can sing and dance till you keel over, all i know is that a progressive and democratic government do not run an unruly parliament.the president never distributed "expired" rice, infact the president has never shared any rice!,this serves to expose your ignorance. |
Re: Where Is Nigeria In The G-20 by ActivateKruger: 9:46pm On Nov 21, 2014 |
F117AA: - Your billion dollar figure is a fabrication, a classic lie - Nollywood made $800mil in 2013 If Nollywood was even half of what you claim it to be... then - Give me a name of any Nigerian movie that has been nominated or won an Oscar. - Give me a name of any Nigerian actor or director that has been nominated for an Oscar. Until then, your movie industry is nothing but a dusty street-corner movie industry... only good enough for poor Africans

F117AA: - First there is no such thing as a legitimate member of the G20, we're there because we fit the criteria and Nigeria doesn't - Your inclusion of Egypt and Pakistan as dominant economies indicates your lack of knowledge of economics, you're a mere amateur. EVarn: Shows just how little you know. The Asian Tigers are social DEMOCRATIC countries that practice collective capitalism my pumpkin. Many European and South American countries such as Germany and France also practice social democracy, as does SA. There is no pure "form" of democracy or capitalism. Social democracy is the most practiced form of democracy the world over and has proved to improve people's livelihoods. Shame the Nigerian situation is pathetically sad, it seems your government has been feeding you propaganda that is designed to put blinders on your eyes and it clearly has been working. ...Just saw your profile picture, now everything makes sense - your misguided "knowledge" and your childish tantrums... You are nothing but a baby! My child please stay/go to school you still have a lot to learn. 1 Like |

F117AA: Fact remains Nigerians watch Nigerian movies, the WORLD watches SA movies. Nigerians did multiply like rats then ran away from "wonderful" Nigeria and infested other countries. Those sales in the other countries are by Nigerians not the natives. Nollywood is not commercial outside the Nigerian/West African market. At least you watched 2 SA movies (which means you watched one and afterwards CONSCIENCELY went and watched another-lol). I don't know of a single SA who would consciencely watch EVEN ONE Nollywood crap spew. At most those who have had the misfortune of catching it on TV watch no more than 5 minutes and never watch it again. Hence we don't know these "celebrities" you name because we don't care to know them. Face reality SA is a gazillion times better than Nigeria. Which of these stars of yours have won Oscars or walked the red carpet and were capture in international magazines, talk shows and showbiz shows |

EVarn:Zulu fisherman? Is that meant to be an insult? LOLEST!!! The Zulus were one of the world's greatest nations FYI. Kanene, remind me which Nigerian nation is revered and known the world over? LOL! There's this wonderful program that was founded in 1998 called google. If you ask someone to help you, you can use it and just type in President Jonathan donated expired rice and you'll get a lot of hits. You can also use it to look up UK parliamentary fights and other nations. Here's one of the reports to get you started: www.nigerianmonitor.com/2014/11/14/photo-patience-jonathan-accused-of-donating-expired-rice-to-bayelsa-women/ Said this before: less concern about beautiful, well functioning SA and more concern about a government who's making people pay for the basic needs it should be providing, Boko Haram, kidnappings, hostage dramas, drug and prostitution cartels etc. etc. etc would serve Nigerians well 1 Like |

SA is part of the G20 because it is the strogest econmy in africa. Nigeria may be big but it is not strong. It's size is due to nigerians breeding like rabits. Fact is SA spends way more money than Nigeria Makes way more money Is the largest African provider of FDI in africa Has econmic intrists accross africa Has far more influnce than Nigeria (with a click of a switch we can plunge SADC in to darkness. Now that is power) There are far more bussness intrists in SA than Nigeria We the industrail heart of africa. All nigeria has is oil, and no oil baron nastion is part of the G20. 2 Likes |
