if the issue you're having is data connection, check that your apn is set to default if you're using glo BIS...so long as you can make calls with the sim, then the phone is unlocked

copy ur contact frm ur E series to d memory card using xplorer whch is a file manager for Nokia, after dt u cn copy d contact bck into ur new BlackBerry from d memory card

BB pins are usually never blocked even when the phone is locked to a carrier. if you can make calls and receive calls then the phone is not locked to any carrier. the other possibility is that the device is a 'not for sale' unit given to developers or the device has been reported stolen to blackberry and pin blocked.

did you buy the device on eBay?
