Henry120: Mr Sanusi was suspended last month after he told a senate committee that the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) had failed to account for $20bn of the $67bn of oil sold between January 2012 and July 2013. http://www.bbc.com/news/world-africa-26553388 You try argue with us, yet you dont even know the facts of the situation? Patchesagain: Pocket your lame excuses. Armoured vehicles don't dictate to an enemy the type of RPG the enemy will use against them. Leave BMP-2 alone, it is a good IFV with modern versions that have extra new armour thicker than the older early versions. Algerian army BMP-2M is a good example of new BMP-2 with new increased armour. British super heavy armoured Challenger main battle tank was penetrated by an RPG, simple. Case closed . |

Patchesagain: Neither can you provide a single source that claims NAF has started taking deliveries of MI-35M hind E helicopters? Neither is there a single source that says N.A has received an X amount of CS/VP3 MRAPS from China, but again we have. 2 Likes |

Henry120: - Tucano = Claim - T-72 = Claim - Missile Armed OPV = Claim - T-80 = Claim - Ceasar SPG = Claim - FH77 B05 L52 = Claim - Su30 = Claim Its in your blood, your government manipulates your feeble minds with tabloid pronunciations about mythical acquisitions. |

Henry120:Are you telling us why? When it comes too weapons. Know prototype aircraft for marketing or PR reasons will be represented as carrying a wide range of weapons. Look at what it is said the JF-17 will carry, also look at the weapons it was said the Gripen will carry. |
Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by Patchesagain: 1:36pm On Nov 28, 2014 |
agaugust: No, the Chally was penetrated by its own reactive armor. Caused by a one in a million shot. Fired by the most advanced RPG there is. And all that happened is that the driver lost a toe. Again, you are talking about something you know nothing about. Meanwhile, when a BMP-2 gets hit by an old RPG-7 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V0250U-2XCc And yes, it is safe to say that not many rebel groups in the world have acess to top-of-the-line Russian RPG's |

Henry120: Yes, but you can provide pictoral evidence of them in Nigeria Where are your pictures of BMP-2's, T-80's, Tucanos, SU30's, FH77 B05 L52's, CEASAR guns? Huh? |

Patchesagain: I try to argue with you guys, but you've always consistently shown to be a bunch of pea brain size dimwits. and irresponsible stewardship of its resources. Nigerians are still waiting for the report of the probe into the 48.9 billion dollars NNPC funds. @Henry-SA has more than $3trillion of mineral reserves in today's money more than what Nigerias 39 bn barrels of oil in reserve can make. SA is the world richest country in mineral reserves, the world's number one. That makes SA many a times richer than Nigeria. 1 Like |

MikeCZAR: Like i've stated previously, that Ahralc, or what ever it is called is going to be a massive failure in the market. The Scorpion hasn't yet been completed, but orders are already pouring in. Don't be delusional, probably, your park services can buy 2 units, but that's it. |

Patchesagain: SAAF Gripens CANNOT harm a ZSU-23-4 shilka, it will radar scan and track your slow speed 85km/hr guided bomb PGM and destroy everything with volley of AAA four barrel fire, the SAAF Gripens will waste all your 50 units of snail slow speed Paveway guided bombs until you have nothing left. Then you will know why NATO is afraid of Shilka AAA. Mumu . |

Patchesagain: If 48.9 billion dollars can go missing, how much does the Nation actually earn? Gripen flying at Mach 2 isn't an ISTAR platform. You still don't know what an true surveillance plane is? Any asset can carry out surveillance, looking through the window of my car is actually surveillance. 1 Like |

agaugust: NATO was afraid of the Shilka in the 1970's How many JDAM's did the Shilka stop in Iraq (twice) or Yugoslavia or Libya? Clown, CRAM ammunition was invented specifically to engage such bombs... and you think an old Shilka can do it? Shilka is not a threat to the Gripen, Shilka is not a threat to anything modern except attack helicopters. |

Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by Patchesagain: 1:53pm On Nov 28, 2014 |
Henry120: Stop wasting my time. NATO used it as ISTAR in Libya, to complete 37% of missions... despite NATO having access to multiple dedicated ISTAR platforms. Gripen is the best, simple |

Henry120:The SA company refused to take orders. The AHRLAC isn't completed too. Remember that deal which was signed with Boeing? The AHRLAC will out sale the Scorpion, as it offers capabilities similar to the Super Tucano. |
